When I tell you our wedding went off without a hitch, it was 1000% because we worked with Satin Wedding Co.

Leading up to our wedding, we hit some logistical obstacles along the way, and Courtney saved us with ease time and time again.

She just reads the room and the couple she is working with so well. We wanted a more personal wedding, so she let us make all of the big decisions that felt like us, and helped execute our vision. She recommended vendors in our budget when we needed ideas, helped us figure out the perfect floor plan that would leave enough space and helped us book some last minute tables, chairs, linens, etc. when we realized we didn't have enough! She took care of all of the logistical emails with vendors leading up to the wedding, so that our days leading up to the wedding were so much more enjoyable. Having her expertise was vital as she helped keep us on budget as much as possible.

She always told us that if we woke up at 2 AM with an idea or concern, we could text her and she'd be on it for us. And she truly was!

We had so many compliments from our friends & family about her- how fun and efficient and positive she was, and how smooth it all went. I wish I could throw another wedding just so I could work with her again.

I think finding the right wedding planner is mainly about trust- trust that the planner will understand you, help you stick to your budget and vision, so that you can let go of the reins during one of the biggest events you will throw in your life. Literally obsessed and I, honestly, miss her now that it's been a few months!

We were coming from out of town, and it was really important to us to make sure we were finding vendors that would make all our friends and family feel safe and comfortable; she was really our boots on the ground and she didn't steer us wrong a single time. She pointed us toward truly a dream team of vendors filled with people she knows and trusts, so I knew I could trust them too.

She greeted every meeting with us with a smile and a plan. She responded to every question whether big or small. Satin has the best vibes; the best energy.

When I ran into an issue two days before the wedding, Courtney literally JUMPED into action and made work out. I am forever grateful. I LOVE COURTNEY AND I LOVE SATIN WEDDING CO.

Courtney made things so easy handling all of our vendor communications, reviewing our contracts with us, and keeping us on track with what needed to happen next. She was always very available and helpful, and I always trusted her to have our best interests in mind when talking with vendors. She really saw and understood our vision and always made sure we were on the same page. Wedding weekend was just as seamless and stress free with Courtney’s help. Even our bridal party loved her and appreciated how thorough she was during our rehearsal. Day of wedding we had both Courtney and Brian helping us out. Both of them were so kind, fun, and organized. They checked in with us frequently and had a handle on all set up so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They kept us on schedule and looked out for our guests as if they were their own. They truly went above and beyond and I’m so so thankful to have had both Courtney and Brian as a part of our big day. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! We got engaged at the end of 2021 with a planned wedding date for very early 2023. We knew we wanted to get married outside of Austin, in the San Marcos/hill country area. I immediately started looking for planners that served this area, but found that there were SO many that were already booked, out of budget, or frankly, looked like they expected your wedding budget to START at $100k. I began to give up hope of finding anyone and then I saw Satin tagged in our venue’s Instagram and immediately looked them up and got in contact.

What drew me in was their down to earth approach to weddings, recognizing that it’s about the couple and their love AND it can still look incredible too, without the minimum $100k price tag. Bonus points that Satin is queer woman owned! I was NOT disappointed once we hired Courtney and her team.

My husband and I worked directly with Courtney for almost a year leading up to our wedding. I was an event planner in a previous life (never weddings though) and Courtney and I immediately bonded over our Type A organizing styles! Haha. We had monthly planning sessions, and the frequency increased as we got closer to The Big Day. If she couldn’t respond immediately to questions or freakouts (on my part. Haha), Courtney always followed up and did everything to ensure we felt supported and had every answer and detail we could possibly need. We already had our venue and photographer booked, but I was honestly at a loss for everything else. Courtney came through with top notch vendor recommendations.

Our wedding day turned out INCREDIBLE thanks to Courtney, her team, and the vendors that she works with. She was there for me as I cried/freaked out about the weather and our possible rain plan (which we didn’t end up needing) on top of everything else she handled, which meant so much to me during an extremely vulnerable moment. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day and it was so important to myself and my husband that our wedding be about us and this awesome celebration of our union, and it was! We wanted to make sure our wedding felt like ‘us' and Courtney heard our thoughts/concerns and delivered. She always made sure to include both myself and my husband in discussions/recommendations/decisions and was always there to offer advice and encouragement when we wanted to bring in elements of our personalities. One of the best compliments we recieved from one of our guests was that our wedding did not look or feel like our parents planned it for us and that’s thanks to Courtney and her team.

Courtney is a super hero and I want to be like her when I grow up, I mean it. Satin is amazing and I’ve recommended them to every one of my friends that’s gotten engaged. You really can’t go wrong with this amazing group of people. Hire Satin. You won’t regret it.

Courtney is the most amazing woman I have ever met. As I was writing this review I thought, should I have married Courtney?! Just kidding :) but in all realness Satin Wedding Co. and Courtney completely exceeded our expectations and met every need and beyond. From the initial call about a year and a half out to leading up to the big day Courtney handled everything with grace, and communication. Even when I was stressed, I knew we were in good hands. Day of everyone complimented how wonderful she was and how smoothly everything ran. Although everything is a blur I do know that I wouldn’t have had as much fun or been as relaxed if it wasn’t for her and her team. I didn’t worry about a thing. Something went wrong? I didn’t even know about it because she had already taken care of it. She is an amazing human and I love her endlessly. If you’re looking for a planner you can count on, look no further than Courtney. Her expertise and professionalism will not let you down.

I was nervous to book a wedding coordinator because I thought I could handle the wedding planning and the day itself on my own. I am so glad my mom convinced me to hire a coordinator and even more happy we got Danielle! She was super nice throughout the whole process, even when I was worried more often than not about something. She helped me find a bunch of amazing vendors, who we used on the wedding day and she helped me figure out so much during the wedding planning process! Thank you so much Danielle for coordinating our wedding day! We wouldn't have had such an amazing wedding without your help!

I want to start off by saying if you think you don’t need a coordinator.. THINK AGAIN. Our coordinator was Danielle and let me just say she was absolutely amazing! Creating the wedding day timeline was so easy but the actual day of Danielle was on top of everything! All I had to do was communicate a concern and she took care of it. She took every ounce of stress off of my shoulders and I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding!

It says I have 3,500 characters to write this review and I'll stick to that limit, but I hope Satin Wedding Co and specifically Courtney know that my wife and I could probably write a novel about how happy we are to have chosen them as our coordinator! I know Satin has multiple coordinators, so this review goes to them as well because I'm sure Courtney only brings people on to her team that are equally as impressive. But holy crap, Courtney was an absolute all star. She went above and beyond in every aspect of what a coordinator does and you will not be disappointed when you choose her. Her references and recommendations were spot on, knowledge of how everything is supposed to look and come together is unmatched, and flexibility is unrivaled. Courtney can even predict a problem with such accuracy that you'll never even know it was a problem. No aspect of our wedding was too small or unimportant for Courtney to embrace, and trust me when I say there were a lot of moving parts and small requests. This is probably such a small thing, but she even made sure that I always had a drink in my hand when I wanted one and it's the tiny little things like this that add up. Courtney is funny, caring, respectful, outgoing and smart all at the same time. Courtney also has an emergency kit that she brings with her that came in handy! One of my groomsmen's buttons popped off (he's not fat it was just a rental haha) and she was able to sew it back on, and another groomsmen's pants came in just a little too wide at the waiste. We had pins but 7 guys weren't strong enought to get the pins through the pants and clip together to stay up, so we asked Courtney and she did it easy! She was even on board with two pranks that my wife and I pulled on the wedding day (4/1, Aril Fool's day), which, for my wife's prank on me, required getting multiple vendors on board without me knowing. Courtney's decoration skills with the flowers and decor we got made it a more beautiful and lively event space than we could've hoped for. Video chats to talk about planning were actually fun (because who actually has good and productive video chats anymore?) and always made us feel so at ease in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Her communication skills are on point and she'll never leave you hanging physically or emotionally. We loved our experience and cannot say thank you loud enough or on enough platforms. Our dream day simply would not have been possible without Satin Wedding Co and Courtney, thank you!!
