We learned of Sarah and her work through our wedding planner. She came highly recommended as someone who had a vibrant, yet timeless, style - just what we were looking for in these images that will be our memories for years to come. She is professional, responsive, and flexible (we must have changed the family portrait list 3 or 4 times before the day, and even ON the day!) We met Sarah for the first time the morning of the wedding, and from the moment she walked in the door, she was a complete angel. She and Devon took the reins immediately, and with such care and kindness, they captured the whole day beautifully. We felt so at ease with Sarah around, and the photos...amazing! We received previews within a day or two of the wedding, and the full gallery was everything I had hoped it would be. She captured perfectly how my husband and I are together, without awkward or contrived poses, and oh-so-efficiently. I'd hire Sarah again in a heartbeat, and though we personally didn't have time for an engagement session beforehand, would highly recommend that you schedule one. I can't say enough wonderful things about Sarah and her team - you've found the right photographer! Look no further!

I first found out about Sarah when she was the photographer for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in, and I was so impressed with her. We were way behind schedule due to hair and make up, but Sarah was able to readjust and work with the timeline, still able to get all the important shots. She did a great job of staying in the background/letting us and the bride, groom, and their families have our moments, while still being sweet and providing us with the necessary instructions and guidelines to make sure the bride got the shots she wanted and that we all felt comfortable with the process. After seeing the photos from my friends' wedding, I was even more impressed. They were beautiful! My favorites were her pictures of their first look-- they made me cry because she did such a great job of capturing the emotion of that moment. I knew then that I wanted to look into her for my own wedding. Upon reaching out to her, my wedding planner was pleasantly shocked at her affordability based on the quality of her work. After choosing her as our vendor, Sarah really wanted to get to know us so that she could capture our personalities, so we spoke on the phone and filled out a questionnaire to help her learn more about us. She even sent us a gift of a wine icicle cooler after learning what wine lovers we were! For our engagement pictures, she was so helpful: she gave me suggestions on what to wear and where to shop, and she even helped us pick a location based on how we wanted our pictures to look and our personalities/preferences, which is something we really struggled with. Our engagement pictures turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I could not be more pleased with the results! I've had people I barely know reach out to me to compliment them. Another way she is easy to work with: upon getting my sneak peaks back, I noticed a crease in my hair that I didn't like and told her about it. She quickly edited out of all the pictures where it was visible. I'm so excited to see the photos that come out of our wedding. I know she'll capture it perfectly!

-UPDATE AFTER WEDDING-

Of course, since I had already worked with Sarah, I knew she'd be amazing to work with on our wedding day. Everything I said previously rings true-- she's so great at getting those awesome shots while remaining in the background and not taking away from the emotions and the excitement of the day. She was amazing at getting all the important shots knowing what we would later want. In addition, she had to work around several obstacles-- a very sick bridesmaid who ended up in the hospital that night (she is fine now thank goodness), a flower girl who would not stop bawling or leave her mother's (a bridesmaid) side for any of the pictures, and several unruly guests. She did it so seamlessly and gracefully, and her calmness made me less stressed! Finally, even though getting the full wedding album ready takes time, Sarah knew I really wanted to have a couple options to post to Instagram the day after my wedding, and she delivered! She went above and beyond even while being out of town to make sure I had a couple shots I could choose from to post to social that very next day. They were absolutely beautiful, and I am so excited to see the rest of what she captured because I know it's going to be amazing. I will be using Sarah for any photography needs that I have moving forward.

I really cannot say enough about Sarah. From beginning to end, we had nothing but fantastic experiences with her. Our engagement session was fantastic, even after we had to reschedule twice due to weather (so flexible!). I felt like she really connected with us and captured who we are as a couple. My bridal photos were done at my venue with my daughter, and people keep telling me that they do a double take, thinking my pics are stock photos from a magazine. I am NOT anywhere close to model material- this is all Sarah! She made me feel so beautiful and confident. On the day of our wedding, she not only captured the "Pinterest" moments, but captured the little, beautiful parts of our day that someone who was less in touch would have missed. She worked well with all of our vendors and is just so sweet, everyone loved her. Our family photos went quickly- we had a ton of kids to photograph and she knew she had a split second to capture the moment. The reception, again, was perfectly captured. Sarah was in the crowd, working hard all night. I barely saw her sit down, but I also rarely noticed she was there- our photos were perfectly candid and I never felt like she was "in the way". My vendors, guests, and family have all approached me to compliment our choice of photographer. I couldn't possibly recommend her more!
