We had an incredible wedding day and beautiful photos thanks to Sara and her team. Sara coached us through the portraits and helped us move through large group photos efficiently. Her photography style is beautiful - she captures all the small candid moments that are easy to miss on the big day. Thanks to her we have amazing memories of our wedding to look back on. For any bride looking for a wedding photographer, I can’t recommend Sara enough!

Sara and her associate photographer Lisa were nothing short of incredible on our wedding day. It is impossible to adequately describe their creative abilities and how happy we are with the pictures of the most important day of our lives. Despite rain putting a damper on the ability to take scenic pictures outside, Sara and Lisa found nooks and crannies of our hotel that made for breathtaking photos. The only thing that surpasses Sara’s actual photography is how much of a pleasure it is to work with her and her team. Sara is warm, funny, a great listener, and a much needed calming presence on an inevitably chaotic day. We are truly grateful to have worked with her and you should absolutely jump on the opportunity to do so too!

We originally had Sheri with Kelilina as our photographer, but when we had to cancel our original wedding due to COVID, it was arranged for Sara to photograph our newly planned wedding this December. I couldn't be more grateful that Sara was our photographer! She has such a sweet, caring personality and was absolutely amazing at directing our wedding party and family for photos! She kept everything organized and on-time! She did an amazing job coming up with a photo timeline for our big day. I wanted a photo of my husband and I wrapped in Christmas lights, which was not an easy photo to get, and she went out of her way to figure out how to do it! She even brought her own special light to make it happen! I was blown away that she cared enough about our photos to do this. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars, because she deserves the most! Thank you Sara for the amazing job you did, for being willing to travel all the way to Hilton Head for our wedding, and for your kindness/professionalism along the way!

Sara and her team are absolutely amazing to work with. Seriously they are a must! Sara was the first vendor we booked, even before our venue! We knew we had to have her no matter what! Her attitude is energizing and Sara and Sheri were so fun to be around! They captured all of the best moments without us even knowing they were there. Best decision aside from marrying my husband! ;)

From the initial meeting to the final day, Tina Blanco and Sara Kauss Photography did an awesome job! They were professional and fun, while not being overwhelming during the big day. Their photographers were so much fun and they really understood what we wanted!

Best photographer ever!! Sara Kauss and Tina Blanco were an absolute dream to work with. Like most couples, the photography was the most important “take away” we had from the wedding and we spent a ton of time interviewing and researching photographers. Upon our first phone call and review of Sara’s portfolio, we knew she was the one for us. She has such an awesome positive outlook on life and that is truly projected in her photos. We haven’t received all of our photos yet (our wedding was only three weeks ago) but the ones she has sent us are absolutely breathtaking. She also did our engagement shoot and we absolutely treasure all the photos from that day. We loved having Sara and her team shoot our wedding, she’s such a pleasure to be around and so talented, we plan to have her shoot us in the future! I cannot recommend her and her team enough.

I have known Sara for a few years through her wonderful in-laws. When my husband and I were engaged and it came time to choose a photographer, I knew exactly who to call! From the beginning, Sara and her assistant, Alyssa, were a pleasure to work with! They took time to really get to know my husband and I, and were always excited to hear details about our wedding plans and our vision for the big day.

Sara has such a laid-back and free-spirited approach to photography. She likes to catch natural moments in unique ways and is always looking for creative ways to frame shots, especially using elements in nature. One of my favorite shots from my wedding is of the whole bridal party during the ceremony with the sun shining through the branches of the big oak tree where we got married. I can't wait to get that one blown up and framed on the wall!

Sara and Alyssa are true professionals in the way they run the business. They are timely in responding to emails and phone calls, they are very detail-oriented in planning the timeline of the wedding day... nothing will fall through the cracks with the two of them around.

Get comfortable. This will be a long review to ensure proper justice to my friend, and fabulous wedding photographer, Sara Kauss. When I first met Sara our junior year of high school, I knew she had a passion for photography. She had every wall of her bedroom covered in pictures – rather, memories of her life experiences. When I received a “message in a bottle” our last year of college as an invitation to her own wedding, I was totally impressed with her exceptional attention to detail and artistic ability. Shortly after college, when Sara told me she was shadowing a wedding photographer to “get her foot in the door” in the industry, I knew that no one else could be my own wedding photographer but her. No, I hadn’t found my husband at that point (details!).

I’ve noticed over the years since then, thanks so social media, how exceptionally talented Sara is at capturing emotional detail in her photography. After my husband and I became engaged and the several weeks’ worth of initial excitement turned into the getting-down-to-wedding-planning-business mentality, I showed him Sara’s website and he too was completely blown away by her obvious talent. I reached out to Sara immediately to make sure she was available for our wedding date and luckily she was. Sara is still as fun and delightful as I remember her from high school and college, but also incredibly professional. She shot both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. Both experiences and final products were outstanding! Seriously, our wedding pictures are some of the most impressive photography I’ve seen, and this is not just my opinion. I’ve shown them to completely unbiased people who have nothing but jaw-dropping awe for them.

I know that Sara would have produced the same beautiful pictures – rather, memories of our wedding day whether I met her years ago or yesterday. I’m a proud friend and couldn’t recommend any wedding photographer higher than Sara Kauss.
