I did not know what I was doing but my friend saw san diego life events recomended on FB so I messaged them. Rachel was the sweetest and she responded fast and calmed my nerves. at first I thought to save money I was only going to do day of planning but I ended up adding to do month of. I wish I did more tbh looking back but thats not Rachel's fault bcuz I told her I was trying to save money lol and she was working with me. Rachel wasnt available on my wedding day but she helped all the way up until the day and even at the rehearsal. That day we met her and she felt like a long time friend. everyone loved her and she was smart and funny. it helped so much and my anxiety was not as bad after that. on my wedding day my coordinator was alicia and freeda and they were awesome. just like rachel they were so nice and on top of everything u can really tell that rachel takes hiring her coordinators seriously because they could not have been more perfect for our day. they even did things i did not expect or ask them to do that helped everything and my husband who was not really involved much in planning mentioned how impressed he was. my mom also who was annoying them alot also said how she loved them and wants them for my brothers wedding too. At the end of the night everything was already packed up for us for my mom to take and we didnt have to wait or do anything. i am so grateful that i chose to hire San Diego Life Events they are truly the best and i will recommend them to anyone getting married

It was amazing to work with Rachel and her associate (Christina)! Rachel is very organized, responsive and professional. When I asked her for vendor recommendation, she gave her unbiased opinion based on how the vendors responded to me. She was also very forthcoming if she has worked with a vendor before but want to make sure I choose the right vendor for myself. Christina and our venue came through the day of and made sure everything went smoothly. It was raining the morning of our wedding, but Christina helped flip our venue from the inside to the outside lawn an hour before the ceremony when we had a sun break!

Our venue required a Day of Wedding Coordinator. I chatted with a few but could not find the right fit. Thankfully I found Rachel! We clicked right away. She understood exactly what I wanted and needed. We met with her and Christina for our rehearsal and they made everything so easy. Even got a little surprise for my daughter!  The day of the event I did not worry about anything. Christina ensured everything was set up, ready and running smoothly. I was most worried about not being able to enjoy my wedding because of the logistics. But thankfully all was well managed and we had the best day! We were relaxed and able to fully be in our wedding! I cannot thank them enough. For anyone getting married, they are a must!! 

I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated having Rachel and her teammate, Alicia, coordinate our wedding. Rachel was extraordinarily organized and on top of things from day one, and as we got closer to our wedding, she was a speedy communicator, answering any and all questions that came up. We even had a small issue arise with communication with our venue, and Rachel stepped up and reassured us that if any problems came from it, she'd handle it--and she did! I am so grateful for the confident and no-nonsense way she managed everything, all while still being extremely kind and welcoming. She's someone you quickly feel able to confide and trust in.

On the day of, Rachel and Alicia set up our decor stunningly, improving on our own ideas. And throughout our reception, we didn't have to give a thought to the flow of events or making things happen--we just got to enjoy it while Rachel and Alicia made things flow smoothly behind the scenes. They also made packing up a breeze, and we were out of the venue almost immediately after our event wrapped up.

I cannot emphasize enough what a difference booking Rachel and her team made to our day, and I highly recommend them! I can't imagine our wedding day without them.

We cannot say enough good things about Rachel and her Associate Christina. We were looking for Day of Wedding Coordination services as required by our venue. From a preferred vendor list provided by that venue, we chose San Diego Life Events. Their website drew us in and we were not disappointed. Between the two of them we were gently guided and assisted through the rehearsal and wedding day events with warmth, kindness, humor and total professionalism. From the beginnning we knew we were in good hands. In the two weeks leading up to the wedding date Rachel took over coordinating with our vendors and the venue. All we had to do was show up. It was a perfect day.

So glad we had San Diego Life Events handle my sons wedding. Rachel and her team were awesome and kept everything on track and running smoothly and on time! Highly recommend! When my daughter gets married I’m definitely hiring them again.

I found San Diego Life Events when in search of a coordinator that would be in support of LGBTQ weddings, knowing that Rachel and her team would be bringing love and support to our wedding. When finding her website and seeing “you are exactly where you’re meant to be” I actually did know. From the moment I spoke with Rachel she made wedding planning feel like a dream and took so much weight off our shoulders. Every detail we mentioned to her she made come a reality. San Diego Life Events did everything from hang floating candles at our Harry Potter wedding to bring my wife and I had plates of food, ensuring we didn’t miss a moment of our beautiful day and we’re still fed. Rachel is a lifesaver! She's there for you from day one. We booked her for partial planning and I am so glad we had her through the whole process. Rachel is honestly more than just a coordinator. She got to know us and befriend us; I even got the cutest dinosaur plushie gift from her when I told her I was a paleontologist! She's on top of everything; she'll send payment reminders, reach out to vendors, give great advice, help you through rehearsal, and make you feel taken care of. Our wedding day went perfectly and we had zero worries about the venue, vendors, or guests. My partner and I were able to enjoy our day together!

We had an incredible time working with Rachel. She was super friendly and helpful through the entire planning process. She gave great advice and really enabled us to do our wedding OUR way. She did a great job running the rehearsal and made everyone feel comfortable and prepared. On the day of our wedding, she and her incredible assistant covered everything. I felt like I could really relax and enjoy myself knowing she had everything handled behind the scenes. 100% recommend working with her!!

Rachel is professional, experienced and reliable. She was an instrumental component to the success of our wedding day. We secured her last minute, and I cannot tell you how badly we now wish we had found her sooner than we did. All of her recommendations and advice were spot on. Her response time was generally very fast, even when we knew she was working with other people. Her industry knowledge is impressive, and her attitude is fun and calm (and a little quirky, which we totally adored.) I cannot imagine a world where we got married without her help.
