Alan and I met at Saltgrass Steak House but that wasn't the main reason we chose them to cater our wedding luncheon.

The main reason was Jason Byrd. We have known Jason to be an excellent manager. He's friendly, efficient and professional. Every meal we ever had from Saltgrass was exceptional. So, who else would we trust to provide a delicious meal for us and our guests.

Jason's staff prepared delicious, HUGE chicken-fried chicken, steamed veggies, loaded mashed potatoes, gravy and of course, bear bread. The meal was talked about for weeks! The servings were more than ample, hot and fresh - though we live 20 minutes from the restaurant.

A big thank you to the Saltgrass Steak House in San Marcos, TX ~ Oh, if you ever wonder if it's affordable, just give Jason a call. He'll deliver what you need for a price you can afford!

I worked with Jason Byrd as a waitress in training and he has sexually harassed me, only to get a slap on the wrist. He was wearing an apron and made a gesture with his finger under the apron and said"hey look". Also he was engaged at the time of the instance. I reported it directly to Human Resources, but they simply appologized and kept me at the same location with him. I also was outcasted by numerous employees after I reported it. Long story short, I left about two weeks after being demoted to hostess. Love my job now, but for any female who wants to work here or eat here.. know where your money is going.
