Finding the right person to marry us was something we were surprisingly nervous about throughout the planning process. Since neither of us are from Florida, we did not already have someone in mind, and we knew we wanted a ceremony that felt meaningful and heartfelt while still bringing warmth, personality, and moments of humor into it.
Then we found Reverend Michael, and it felt like a miracle. From our very first conversation, we knew he was exactly who we had been hoping for. Every premarital counseling session with him was thoughtful, impactful, and so much fun. I am pretty sure every call ran at least 40 minutes over because we all genuinely enjoyed talking and getting to know one another.
The ceremony itself was absolutely incredible. I may be biased as the bride haha, but we had countless guests come up to us afterward saying it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever heard and asking where we found him. He made the ceremony feel deeply meaningful while still capturing so much joy and personality, which was exactly what we wanted.
Beyond being an amazing officiant, Michael is just an incredible person, and by the end of this process we truly felt like we had gained a friend. We feel very lucky to know him and cannot recommend him enough.

From our very first phone call, we knew Reverend Michael Calderin was the one we wanted to marry us.

Throughout our engagement, we spent time in premarital meetings getting to know him, and allowing him to truly get to know us. Those conversations were something we genuinely looked forward to. He made us feel so comfortable, and it was clear how much he cared about creating a ceremony that felt personal and meaningful to us.

During our engagement, we also had the opportunity to attend a friend’s wedding that he officiated, and seeing him in action, and even sharing a dance with him afterward, made us even more confident in our decision.

Reverend Michael was incredibly generous with his time, always willing to answer questions, talk things through, and offer guidance whenever we needed it. He provided thoughtful advice and gentle reminders that helped us stay present and truly take in every moment of our wedding day.

One of the most meaningful parts of our ceremony was how he helped us honor loved ones we’ve lost, including my father, grandparents, and best friend. The way he guided us through incorporating them was so thoughtful and intentional, and it meant more to us than we can fully express.

Our ceremony felt completely “us,” and that’s entirely because of the time, care, and attention he poured into it.

We also loved that he stayed to celebrate with us afterward, sharing a meal and dancing the night away. It made the entire experience feel even more special and personal.

Reverend Michael is truly one of a kind, with the kindest heart and soul. We are so grateful for him and feel lucky to have him in our lives beyond just our wedding day.

Five stars isn't enough for Michael! (And bias aside as he is a dear friend of mine 🤗) He brought such amazing energy to our ceremony. He’s charismatic, articulate, and knows exactly how to capture a room. He made our wedding day feel official and magical all at once. We had Reverend Michael officiated our wedding and gave us pre martial counseling. He is an incredible man who immediately broke down our walls and made us comfortable to open up to him and share our truths.
