We used Rabbi Kaplan for our wedding in May 2024. We live in NY and wanted to get married in Florida, so we weren't connected to any Rabbi. We reached out in Florida facebook groups and he came highly recommended by many. We spoke to a few rabbis and chose to go with Rabbi Kaplan since he made us feel the most comfortable, he was super accommodating and cooperative. We loved his vibe and the love we felt through the phone without ever meeting him prior. We felt like we knew each other him for years - that’s the type of guy he is.
Throughout the process, he checked in with us and kept us informed with all the steps we had to take before the wedding. He was also super accommodating with any requests we had to make our ceremony be the way we pictured. We felt comfortable to share our wants/the flavor we wanted without feeling judgement (felt judged from other Rabbis about our wishes/thoughts).
And then on the wedding day, he was absolutely incredible. Our ketubah signing was beautiful - explained the religious aspect behind it but explained it in a way we understood and kept it light and simple. Our ceremony was everything we wanted - beautiful, loving, warm, and to the point. We did our own personal vows with the traditional vows. He was super supportive of that and since that was going to take up a good amount of time of the ceremony, he kept the other parts short and sweet. We couldn’t recommend him enough! Everyone told us how beautiful our ceremony was and we give a lot of that credit to Rabbi Kaplan - he truly set that stage. And we are proud to say we plan to keep a relationship with him post our wedding.
If your questioning who to use, we would recommend setting up a time to meet with him and then you will understood why we chose him! His love and care radiates when you meet him!

Rabbi Kaplan was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Rabbi Kaplan went above and beyond in officiating our wedding ceremony. After a few meetings, we quickly became familiar with each other and our story. He made sure to touch on each of our faiths since my husband is Jewish and I am Christian. Rabbi Kaplan made us both feel at ease on our big day and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful ceremony! Can't recommend enough!!!

Rabbi Kaplan officiated our wedding in Boca Raton and he was absolutely amazing. My husband is Jewish and I am Christian and during the wedding planning, he explained all of the amazing Jewish traditions that we had during the ceremony. He also did a FABULOUS job explaining what the Jewish traditions symbolized to my family during the ceremony so everyone could understand. It was great getting to know him the month's leading up to our wedding and we even had a lovely in person meeting with him a couple weeks beforehand to go over ceremony details. Rabbi Kaplan provided us with plenty of guidance and all the information we could possibly need from obtaining the marriage license to the ceremony traditions/logistics etc. He helped us with the Ketubah and thoroughly explained every detail. The ceremony was beautifully written and guests haven't stopped raving about it. We are so grateful our wedding planner found him for us and we would recommend him to anyone getting married!
