About

Certified Prepare/Enrich Minister since 1997; available for Weddings and Renewal Services in a church or other setting. Previous weddings have included a ceremony on the beach, in churches, at SMU's Perkins Chapel, several at the Arboretum, the Aquarium and even one in a nursing home so grandma could attend!

Wedding fees vary, but usually run between $100-250 depending on your arrangements. Three pre-marital sessions are recommended, and you will find these meetings extremely helpful as you prepare for a successful marriage and a very special wedding day. Destination wedding fee includes the basic fee plus travel expenses.

Past experience with wedding services have included a Unity Candle or Sand Ceremony and wonderful musical selections. I offer traditional or contemporary services and can customize it in order to add the special things you may want to give the service your personal touches. I am also a "Twogether in Texas" Officiant which means, with the counseling, you will receive $60.00 off when you go to get your license.

Wonderful and Kind

Bonnie is a kind and very supportive officiant. After we found her, she was there every step of the way, helping my husband and I navigate the last two months leading up to our wedding. She provided us with marriage counseling as well as officiating the ceremony. She was helpful, insightful and one of the nicest counselors I've ever met. I can't thank her enough for the kind support.

Rev. Bonnie was just what we were looking for!

When we decided to elope we both agreed we should do a pre-marital counseling program. After doing some research, I found Rev. Bonnie on Wedding Wire. She had great reviews and is also a “Twogether in Texas” officiant. We really enjoyed our pre-marital counseling with Rev. Bonnie and both learned a lot about each other. After completing counseling, we decided to have Rev. Bonnie do our private ceremony at the Arboretum. It was quick and sweet, just like we wanted, and Rev. Bonnie was very easy to work with. Her husband even came along to take pictures! She mailed our certificate in immediately and we received it back two weeks later. I highly recommend doing the “Twogether in Texas” counseling program with Rev. Bonnie and hiring her to officiate your ceremony! She is genuine, sweet and passionate about what she does!

Bonnie is simply the best! She did our pre-marital counseling, wedding ceremony, as well as post-wedding sessions, and helped us identify how to work on communicating. She loves Jesus, is a strong female role-model and has unique life experiences to help walk you through the hard spots with both empathy and the right tools you need to have a healthy relationship.

She helped us create our ideal ceremony by giving us a few examples of ceremony language/structures. We took pieces from each to make our own unique flow, and since she is registered as a Twogether in Texas counselor, we didn't have to pay the $60 state portion of the marriage license after doing pre-marital counseling with her - only $21 for the county portion (varies by county).

We wanted a small, private ceremony with only immediate family. Rev. Bonnie was very easy to work with and accommodated every request we had. Our wedding was exactly what we hoped it would be. We are extremely pleased with the service she performed.

Our minister canceled two days before our wedding due to family emergency. Being labor day weekend we could not find anyone to marry us. We had to scramble for a minister or postpone our wedding,we called many online ministers but none were available so we prayed about it and tried one last number and our blessing was answered.
Rev. Bonnie is truly a blessing, she made our wedding unforgetable and her spirit is God sent.
