I truly cannot say enough good things about Ryan Eda Photography and Ryan himself. Ryan photographed both our engagement session and our wedding, and the photos from both are absolutely incredible. Neither my husband nor I are exactly naturals in front of a camera, but Ryan knew exactly how to pose us, direct us, and make everything feel comfortable and natural. Nothing ever looked stiff or overly posed.

On our wedding day especially, Ryan was phenomenal. We ended up running pretty significantly behind schedule, particularly when it came to our bridal party photos, and he handled it with so much patience and professionalism. Even though we were on such a time crunch, we never felt like we were being rushed through our photos or like we were missing out on anything. Somehow, he still made sure we got all of the shots we wanted.

The amount of thought and preparation Ryan puts into his work is also incredible. Before the wedding, he created an extremely detailed timeline for our entire day and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He even asked the ages of the kids who would be in our photos and came prepared with things specifically to get their attention. He brought a squeaky toy for the two-year-old, and it genuinely worked; we actually have photos of him looking at the camera! It was such a small detail, but it really showed how much Ryan thinks ahead and cares about getting the best photos possible.

And the actual photos are just unbelievable. Ryan’s work has this beautiful and theatrical quality while still feeling completely authentic to us. The photos are polished and professional, making the images look like they’re from a magazine. Our biggest problem has honestly been trying to choose favorites because there are SO many amazing ones.

The turnaround time was also insane. Ryan had two additional weddings the exact same weekend as ours, and somehow we still had our entire wedding gallery back within about 2-3 weeks. I genuinely do not know how he did it.

Beyond his talent, Ryan is just an incredible person to work with. He was always responsive whenever I had questions, incredibly patient throughout the entire process, and made us feel so comfortable. At this point, he genuinely feels more like a friend than just our photographer.

We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture such an important time in our lives. From our engagement photos all the way through our wedding, Ryan Eda Photography completely exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience working with Ryan Eda and his associate team for our wedding day! Ryan was very detailed and prompt as we navigated all the logistics leading up to the wedding and answered all our questions. His team members that were present on our actual wedding day, including Abhi (lead photographer), Marjorie (second photographer), and Patrick (videographer) were an absolute joy to work with all day.
