Master of Photography!!!
Hands down, Ryan and his team are amazing. I came across Ryan on Instagram, and I admired his work. My husband and I had the chance to meet him at the Merion bridal showcase. I knew that I didnt need to look any further for a photographer. Ryan did out engagement shoot and our wedding. Our engagement shoot was a little different, but as soon as I told him what we wanted to do, he was so excited. To work with someone that truly has a passion for their craft is amazing. The photos came out top notch and we knew that our wedding would be just the same. Ryan is patient, creative, professional, but he is also a friend. It was a GREAT time working with Ryan from our very first encounter. I found him on Instagram and immediately scheduled a consultation. During the consultation he inquired about my wedding day plans and also wanted to get to know about the our love story. He was prompt and very professional. Fast forward to the “BIG day”…him and his team were on time and arrived ready to capture the special moments. Thankfully, everything went as we planned. Ryan gave great direction to myself, my husband and the wedding party to make sure he got the best shots. The Photo Reveal was put together so nicely and was an amazing additional experience to getting married. Even for our first year anniversary, Ryan was the only vendor from our wedding to celebrate us and just show that we weren’t just a client for that one day. We had a wonderful experience working with Ryan Eda and his associate team for our wedding day! Ryan was very detailed and prompt as we navigated all the logistics leading up to the wedding and answered all our questions. His team members that were present on our actual wedding day, including Abhi (lead photographer), Marjorie (second photographer), and Patrick (videographer) were an absolute joy to work with all day. They made both of us, as well as our family and friends, feel at ease, and it was special having that South Asian touch to make sure everything ran smoothly. Even though we had some rain and had to move our wedding indoors last minute, they were so great at making sure we got some images and footage outside to make the most out of the garden space we were supposed to have our ceremony in. We heard MANY of our guests echo the same amazing feedback about how funny, kind, and professional they were. We have also been so impressed with how fast Ryan and his team turned around our photos, videos, and photo albums, and they are all of the highest quality. The pictures are so crisp and capture the joy of the day perfectly. The videos, including a highlight reel and full-length wedding ceremony and reception coverage, have brought such smiles on our faces seeing the special moments unfold and watching everyone have a great time. We would absolutely recommend Ryan and his team to anyone doing a wedding in the greater Philadelphia area!! -

Ryan and his team captured our special day so perfectly. My family hired Ryan back in 2022 for my sister’s wedding and because we were blown away with everything, we also hired him. To no surprise, we were beyond thrilled with the captures. Ryan and his team were patient, kind, creative and so much fun. Both my husband and I tend to lose our patience and they kept us happy and focused the entire time. Ryan Eda is a one of a kind photographer and we were so lucky to have him capture our wedding. From the beginning, he was very considerate, really got to know us and listened to how we wanted our wedding to be captured. He made everything personal to us which made everything that much more special. Ryan was very creative with space and time during wedding day and we got all the photos we wanted plus some beautifully edited masterpieces. He also did our engagement photo shoot in below freezing temps and still did an amazing job even if we all froze haha. We chose Ryan as our wedding photographer. We worked with him for about a year as he also did our engagement shoot.
Ryan was GREAT to work with. He was very understanding (I have a big personality!!) & accommodating.
Ryan is suuuuper detail oriented and creative. I sent him some preferred shots I wanted for our day and he wouldn't let us leave those locations without the shots that held up to his standards. Because of this, our photos came out INCREDIBLE.
Ryan & his team were at our wedding for 12 (!!) hours & were constantly upbeat.
One thing to mention is that a lot of Ryan's photos were posed (vs candid) but we were aware of that when we booked, we trusted his vision, even when our faces hurt from smiling, but we are so glad we did because the results speak for themselves.
We'd definitely hire Ryan again if we had the choice and recommend him to anyone. Thank you SO MUCH for capturing our special day so perfectly- we will cherish these photos & memories forever! -

Where to even begin!! When I got engaged, I spent months looking through countless photographers work and even had great video consultations with a few. But having been a professional wedding & studio portrait photographer with a Bachelors in Photography, & having worked in the industry for 10 years… it’s safe to say that choosing a photographer for my wedding was one of the biggest decisions that I placed the most weight on haha. From the moment I found Ryan’s Instagram page.. I knew he was the only one I wanted to capture the most special day in my husband & mine’s lives. The quality of his work is not something you are going to get elsewhere or with most other photographers (even though their work is beautiful!) My husband and I live in Australia (12hr time difference) and had to plan a Philadelphia wedding from overseas. Ryan made this so easy & without any stress. In the lead up to the wedding, he was so accomodating when making the timeline for the day, and made sure to make any request work to ensure my day was nothing short of what I always dreamed of. Come the wedding day… OH MY GOD was his team INCREDIBLE!! They were professional and made sure the day went smoothly & without a hitch. My bridal party & family loved working with them, and I cannot tell you how many guests came up to me saying how in awe they were at how hard Ryan & his team were working. They captured every moment while also “fading into the background”/not getting in anyone’s way. With so many elements coming together to make the big day work, I was so at ease in knowing that Ryan & his team were on top of everything. I didn’t have to worry & could just enjoy the day. Fast forward to the next day after the wedding when I woke up.. I couldn’t believe there were already sneak peak images uploaded!! This made the “fairytale” and happiness of the day continue on even though the wedding had come and gone. Before flying back to Australia shortly after, Ryan got us into the studio to pick our album material (& he even came in on a public holiday for us.) Fast forward a couple weeks to the reveal of all our images (which he made work over Zoom for us) …HOLY WOW - We were just simply blown away. Everything was captured so perfectly.. it’s like re-living the day and we can’t stop looking at the images. During the reveal, there are optional upgrades, and Ryan was not pushy or salesy at all. He sent us pricing days beforehand and let us know they are completely optional. His work simply speaks for itself ..and to my surprise, my husband who is not a photo person, was so excited for our album design to be perfect. So.. in short haha.. I truely can not recommend Ryan Eda Photography highly enough. Yes, weddings are expensive and yes, I too looked for ways to save money anywhere I could (as you should!) But, when it comes to your wedding photographer, who is not only going to be a major person running the day, but also who is going to be the producer of all your memories.. don’t regret choosing anyone other than your dream photographer. For us, it was Ryan Eda Photography. We are just so glad we did. -

Best decision we made for our wedding day
Hiring Ryan Eda to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! He was one of the preferred vendors for our venue and I am so glad that we found him! Just by looking at his portfolio we knew we wanted him to be our photographer. Ryan was easy to work with leading up to our wedding. He was very responsive to emails and the meetings leading up to our wedding day we very organized so he knew exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day he knew exactly what he was doing and came up with incredible shots! He also made sure that we did not miss any of the shots we previously discussed!! Our wedding photos came out amazing! Several people have told me they looked straight out of a magazine! Do not look any further! Ryan is the best there is! -

Not only was this the theme of our wedding day, but it also speaks to the rare and special talent that Ryan possesses. When originally referred by a friend in the industry, my wife and I were absolutely amazed with his work but thought it would certainly be out of our budget. Ryan took time to prepare a bespoke solution for us and the results were in a word, breathtaking.
Ryan is such a wonderful soul, who was so enjoyable to work with. The way they captured every moment in any sort of setting was pure talent. Ryan and his team worked with our family, a huge bridal, the children and pets so well. Our journey with Ryan began at a Bridal Show where my Fiance' (now Husband) believed his photos were not real people but models. I have yet to meet another local photographer who is very kind, patient, professional and can produce gorgeous photographs to your liking. His work is top notch and you could tell he’s very passionate and cares about his clients’ vision and experience when working with him. Justin Sent on 11/20/2017Ryan was recommended to us by a couple family and Friends who had the pleasure of working with him for their engagement and wedding. My fiancé and I had loved his photography with their events so we felt confident in hiring him for our engagement party.
Needless to say, he exceeded our expectations. His professionalism, flexibility and dedication to his clients is most appreciated and admired. I'm from Chicago and my fiancé lives in Philadelphia. Ryan was willing to meet us in NY when we were there for a quick weekend or even FaceTime us to meet. He made sure to ask what things/occurances we wanted pictures of to make sure he didn't miss anything and even inquired about our Indian traditions to make sure he knew what to look out for. You can tell he really cares about his clients.
The day of our party, he captured moments well now be able to cherish for a lifetime...and he captured them so beautifully. His turnaround time was impressive as well! We got 777 pictured edited back within a week! Even more, I wanted a couple of pictures brightened and he was able to make that additional edit quite quickly as well.
All in all, great quality pictures with a very talented professional! Would recommend him to anyone :) -
