There are not enough words to effectively articulate how please we were with The Bellevue team. We booked our date with them back in December of 2020. From our initial email conversations, to planning and coordinating details, to the tasting, and the actual wedding weekend/day of - this team made sure every detail was perfect, and coordinated everything so seamlessly. We initially worked with Kelsey, then got to know Pam, and, finally, Sade joined our planning team. All 3 ladies were amazing, responsive, and professional. They made sure our questions were answered, and our voices were heard. They went above and beyond throughout this entire process. When looking for venues, The Bellevue stood out to us because of its obvious beauty, but the staff is really what sold us. They were flexible and willing to accommodate us, and made our guests feel so welcomed. We HIGHLY recommend this venue - you will absolutely not regret it!!

I cannot even being to explain the absolute perfect job Lisa and the Bellevue staff did for our wedding weekend. Our wedding was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and saying thank you is just not enough. We did not want the weekend to end! I have had so many guests contact me to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been too. That they were so impressed with the servers at the wedding they personally tipped them because they were so fabulous and attentive. Andre and Richie were beyond helpful and made me and Matt feel like we were king and queen for the day. The front desk staff, housekeeping, Justin at valet - literally every employee I had contact with went above and beyond to make sure me and Matt were having the best weekend ever. Lisa, Andre and Richie made our wedding perfect and I will never be able to thank them enough for the pride they take in their job, and how they made sure this was a day I will never ever forget...nobody will!

The Bellevue is the absolute pinnacle venue for a wedding. Recently renovated, the Ballroom is in pristine condition. The size is grand, the detail is beautiful, and the atmosphere exudes elegance. I truly believe there is no other venue in Philadelphia that can offer the same level of food (taste and presentation), service, staff professionalism and friendliness, and grandeur. Something that was very important to us was cleanliness, as well as executing a seamless event - both of which were exceeded beyond measure. Additionally, there was never a time that a request was not met. The hotel coordinators, wedding event planners, and banquet captain worked with us to have sparklers on stage, bring in multiple outside vendors, alter lighting within the room, and personalize every aspect of the wedding weekend that we could. My husband and I were never met with a "no"! Finally, I must comment on the fact that EVERYTHING can be held at this venue - arrival dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party at XIX, departure brunch - you name it! We had our ceremony at a church, but everything else was at The Bellevue. Whether guests stay at the hotel or not, it makes for a weekend easy for EVERYONE! After viewing at least 25 venues in the city of Philadelphia, I can confidently state that The Bellevue is the only venue where this is possible. With all of this said, for anyone looking for wedding venues, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whether you are having a 50 person wedding or 300, this is the spot. It will exceed all expectations, and live in your memory forever as one of your best choices to date. **Make sure you request Lisa McGraw. She is an incredible human and the backbone of weddings at The Bellevue!

There isn't enough room to express how thrilled we were with our June 4th wedding at XIX! Our coordinator, Jamie, was FABULOUS! Professional, helpful, responsive, cost conscious, etc. We were overwhelmed with nothing but positive feedback from our guests whose compliments extended from the Bell persons,, to housekeeping, to bartenders, wait staff, and chef. The Hyatt had also just completed a room renovation right before our wedding which really made things perfect. XIX was a gorgeous location for a wedding and the space itself (historic, elegant, just the right amount of opulence) required very little additional decoration which made things super easy and budget friendly. The food was phenomenal and abundant--its always tough finding time to eat as the bride and groom but they made it a point to know our favorites and make sure to bring us plates piled with our favorites. I'm writing this review 7 months later and everyone is still talking about how awesome our wedding reception was and how much they enjoyed the Hyatt. The value we received for the price was superb. One more cool thing about getting married in XIX is that you can go back for dinner and re-live some of that wedding magic just about any time you want! My husband and I recently had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom at the Bellevue. There are not enough positive words to say about our experience from start to finish –it was superb. Lisa was our event coordinator whom is fantastic, her level of professionalism, thoughtfulness and dedication are unsurpassed. The entire planning process is top notch, making us feel extremely special ie: your tasting is exclusive and held in their wine room with your own personal staff- making you feel as if you are royalty. The attention to detail continued up to the day of our wedding. Our actual day was a dream come true and perfect! The food is amazing and plentiful, the staff is top notch (many of our guests are still raving about the amazing service) and the ballroom looked radiant and not crowded even with almost 300 guests. The day could not have gone any better and we know it is driven by Lisa and her team at the Bellevue. We highly recommend having your wedding at the Bellevue if you want the best you can get!

I had my heart set on a Bellevue wedding before I even got engaged- just being a guest at a wedding here is enough to convince you. Unsurprisingly, being on the other side of the action is just as wonderful! Caryll and the rest of the staff at the Bellevue were extremely professional and flexible to work with, making small changes to what was offered when requested and going above and beyond to make sure everything about our reception in the Grand Ballroom went off without a hitch. We've heard from multiple people that our wedding was the most beautiful they've been to, and the gorgeous backdrop of he ballroom cannot be matched in other venues...the historic aspects (lighting panel installed by Edison, for instance!) are a great bonus as well. My husband, family and I all highly recommend the Hyatt at the Bellevue to other couples looking for a truly memorable celebration.

Could not have asked for a more beautiful venue, delicious food, and spectacular staff. We can not say enough positive things about the Bellevue! They truly made our wedding a dream come true. We wish we could do it all over again!!

We held our wedding Columbus Day weekend at the Hyatt at the Bellevue and, in a word, it was "spectacular". We held our ceremony in the Conservatory, our cocktail hour in the XIX bar and our reception in the XIX restaurant. We were a smallish wedding of about 70 people, so these rooms completely fit the bill. And if anyone has ever seen XIX, you will understand how elegant and truly unique a space it is. Everything was flawless - the ambiance, the food and the service beyond expectations. So many of our guests "ooed" and "ahhhed" at the spaces. And, as foodies, we were thrilled that everyone loved the menu selections. We were equally impressed with the delicious food. I have not been to a wedding in a very long time where people (including me) thought the food stood out as excellent. XIX delivered on all cylinders. As I mentioned, the staff really made the event. Everyone was so courteous, professional and genuinely happy for us on our special day. Our wedding at the Bellevue exceeded our (very high) expectations and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you!

We had the wedding of our dreams in the Grand Ballroom at the Bellevue last month! Jamie Christinzio was wonderful to work with - she was kind, enthusiastic, professional, and attentive to detail. I must have sent hundreds of e-mails to Jamie; not once did she make me feel like I was a bother. We were so impressed with her responsiveness - she always e-mailed me back promptly, with thorough answers to all my questions. She put my mind at ease throughout the wedding planning process and made sure everything was executed perfectly on our wedding day. Minerva, our reservation specialist, was such a sweetheart and made sure our out-of-town guests were happy with their stay. Our maitre d', Tom Burns, treated us like VIPS and catered to all our needs on our wedding day.

The Grand Ballroom has such a rich history - the lighting was designed by Thomas Edison himself and numerous presidents and movie stars have dined there. The building itself is an iconic structure in Philadelphia and the architectural details throughout the interior (the chandeliers, grand staircases, stained glass behind the bar, etc.) set the perfect backdrop for our timeless city wedding.

We received numerous compliments about the food and drinks - the bartenders kept the lines short; our signature drinks were delicious; the Asian bar and mac and cheese bar were big hits; our entree (risotto, crab cakes, and beef tenderloin) was served piping hot and cooked perfectly, exceeding our expectations of typical "wedding food." My friends said our wedding cake was the best they've ever had!

We had our after-party at the Nineteen Bar. The bar closed at 1 AM, but we stayed past 2 AM; the servers were cleaning up and starting to set the tables for breakfast in the morning, but they were extremely accommodating and never asked us to leave!

We LOVED everything about our wedding at the Bellevue and couldn't be more thankful to the wonderful staff who helped turn our dreams into reality!!!
