Roey was such a pleasure to work with. He was so laid back and easy to be around. He made everyone feel completely comfortable being photographed. He managed to take the most amazing photos without us feeling his presence. Anyone who has seen photos of our wedding has said they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen. Justin and I totally agree. Photography is the one thing we have left over from our wedding day and we are so delighted that Roey captured it all. Most importantly he captured the mood and spirit of the day. He captured the raw emotion in the most unobtrusive manner. Put simply- Roey is truly a gifted photographer. It has been very difficult to choose which photos to print- there are just too many spectacular photos! We have recommended and will continue to recommend Roey to everyone we know.

Roey is an amazing photographer. I can safely say that there is no doubt in my mind that we made the right choice with having him photograph our wedding. His photography is absolutely stunning. When I sent around the online link, so many people told me how impressed they were with how gorgeous his photos are. As a close friend said to me afterwards, "You must be SO glad you hired him." And I am. He was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He's very easygoing and talked with us about what we wanted, was very flexible. On the day of the wedding it felt like having another friend there. He seemed so relaxed and to enjoy his work so much, which made it easy to relax around him as a photographic subject. During the evening of the wedding he was not obtrusive but also knew when to gather people for fun group photos.

Roey did an unbelievably good job our wedding...we just got our photos back (the online gallery) and can't believe he captured so many "moments". Roey’s photography is simply beautiful. Here’s our story: We wanted a budget wedding, and hesitated about hiring a professional photographer, as we heard they could be inflexible about their price packages and the minimum amount of work they were willing to do. We know of couples who have spent thousands of dollars on photographs that don’t seem to express a lot of… emotion or personality or creativity. We didn’t want to be disappointed. Also, we only wanted to capture the “major” wedding moments: the church ceremony, the first dance, cake cutting, toasts, and most of all, the emotions and happiness expressed by us and our guests – not hundreds of photos of people dancing or stiff formal portraits. At the very last minute, we finally caved in and realized we would regret not having the moment captured by a professional. Luckily we found Roey! Of course it was pure luck that he was available on such short notice, but also it was pure serendipity that working with Roey turned out GREAT.

Roey quickly met with us in person to discuss our needs and wants for the photography. He was very flexible, not pushy on what HE wanted. (This is a good point to interject that Roey’s prices at that time were more reasonable than other comparable photojournalistic photographers in the area.) At the wedding, he was on time, professional, unassuming, charming and friendly. In no time during the event did Roey make demands on us or on our guests, e.g., for certain poses. The only time he imposed his views was to suggest a different background for the family portraits (which turned out great). Because Roey was so laid-back and “behind the scenes,” he was able to capture the laughter, love, and all the emotions that day, and not just faces.

And just as he promised, when we got back from our honeymoon a little over a week later, Roey provided us all the images he took on a CD and allowed us to make our own copies of the images as we wished. He offered options for creating albums, but did not pressure us to purchase these additional services.

Out of all the beautiful moments that Roey captured on film that day, when you first think you can’t pick just one favorite, there is one image that just says it was all “meant to be.” Only Roey could have captured that moment perfectly.
