Rock'n Rowan's BBQ is a catering company serving weddings in San Diego, California. A family-run business, owners Anthony and Jalena Rowan have been working in the catering industry for many years. The business was originally founded by Jalena’s mother, and they continue its tradition of delicious Santa Maria-style barbeque and warm, friendly service.

Services Offered

Rock' n Rowan's BBQ’s staff offers a full-service catering experience that takes the stress out of feeding parties. During events, a Rock' n Rowan's Event Leader can be present to ensure everything runs smoothly, and the staff can provide cleanup and bussing services. They can also provide event items, including buffet decorations and tasteful black table linens.

Cuisine

Rock'n Rowan's BBQ presents a menu that features dishes from a range of culinary traditions. Guests can dine on Italian classics such as baked ziti or Hawaiin Luau-style pork tenderloin. Rock’n Rowan’s = Yum!

We used Rock'n Rowan's for food and bartending services for our wedding. From the beginning, Jalena was super responsive to all of my questions. They had us out for a tasting and their food sold us right away!! Once at the wedding, they were ready on time, had a great set up, and the food was incredible!! It was even better than I remembered at the tasting. Everyone at our wedding raves about the food and how delicious everything was. Even our pickiest guests went back for seconds! Their bartending services were top notch as well. They were friendly to all our guests and their drinks were mixed well! I was so happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Rock'n Rowan's for your next event!

Amazing service!

From the very beginning Jalena and Anthony were very helpful and always were prompt to answer any questions that I had. We do not live in CA and had our friends go to the tasting. They were highly impressed and so I knew I wanted Rock n Rowan was the company I wanted to go with. Few months later my venue canceled on us 2 months before the big day. We were super stressed since we had to find a new venue. The venue we found that fit our budget was not able to accommodate the food being cooked on premises and we had to go about having a precooked options. Anthony and Jalena understood how upset we were but assured the food would still be good. They were absolutely right! All of our guests commented on how good everything tasted. I am amazed how well everything g turned out even with the all the hiccups we had they made sure our day would still be amazing!

Great service and delicious food!!

Rock’s Rowan’s BBQ was THE BEST catering for my wedding! Anthony and Jalena did such a great job and we’re so accommodating with our menu choices. Seriously the best BBQ ever, for every event we will be using them. Their smoked Tri Tip and Chicken is DELICIOUS, and their scalloped potatoes are to die for! You got so many compliments from our guests (and a lot of them are BBQ snobs lol). Thank you guys so much!

Professional and friendly

Jalena and her staff were amazing. My friend used their service 7 years ago and knew that I wanted to use them for my wedding. They did such a wonderful job. It rained at our wedding and they definitely made it work for us and our guests!

Delicious!

I was told by multiple people, including my Photographer, that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. They were great at taking care of not only myself and my husband but all of our guests as well! Highly recommend!!!!

Great food!

Rock'n Rowan's BBQ was a preferred vendor for our venue. We went to a tasting they hosted and loved the food! Everything was so delicious and they offered some great upgrades. On the day of, they did not disappoint. The food was amazing. Many of our guests told us throughout the night that they loved the food, especially the tri-tip. I definitely recommend upgrading to the chinaware and glass mason jars. Much classier look, but also more practical for all the meat! They also offer cake cutting and serving, which was helpful. Probably the best thing is that they are full service. Very cool, nice, professional people. This was the one decision my husband made for our wedding. He really wanted bbq and we both were impressed. Highly recommend!

Everyone Loved the food!

If you want the best BBQ look no further Rock an Rowan’s make the best cook on site Tri Tip & chicken is so tender and delicious and OMG that Mack n Cheese it’s the Bomb! all our guest love it, their prices are fair and competitive & customer service it’s excellent, they are a family own business from Ramona, CA and we were honored to have them for our wedding 🥰

Rehearsal Dinner

We used this vendor as our caterer for our rehearsal dinner. Our location was remote and they were responsive and arrived early. They were extremely accommodating. The meal was excellent and we couldn't have received better services. Food was great too!
