Rockaway Botanica

Imagine your guests gathered around a beautifully styled Plant Bar transformed into a lush tropical haven or a sculptural desert oasis. Picture an English garden recreated for an intimate Victorian-inspired welcome dinner, a cocktail hour where guests build miniature terrariums beneath a canopy of greenery, or tables alive with plants that become part of the story of your celebration. At Rockaway Botanica, we don’t simply bring plants to weddings. We use them to create places, moments, and experiences. Your botanical experience can be immersive, interactive, beautifully understated, or wonderfully unexpected. A Plant Bar can be designed around the aesthetic of your wedding, inviting guests to choose and personalize a living plant to take home. A terrarium station can become both cocktail-hour entertainment and a memorable favor. Living plants can transform tablescapes, frame gathering spaces, create statement moments, or help turn an ordinary room into the atmosphere you imagined. And because no two celebrations should feel exactly alike, we aren’t limited to a set menu of botanical experiences. Tell us what you’re imagining. A tropical escape. A romantic garden. A desert-inspired celebration. Something moody and botanical. Something completely your own. We’ll explore how plants can help bring that vision to life. Our work can stand on its own or complement the floral and design professionals already creating your wedding. We work with living plants, foliage, terrariums, and botanical elements to add texture, movement, and life while creating experiences guests can actually interact with. The possibilities extend beyond the wedding day. Rockaway Botanica creates Plant Bars, botanical workshops, terrarium experiences, and living decor for bridal showers, engagement parties, welcome dinners, rehearsal gatherings, and celebrations throughout the wedding weekend. Because sometimes the detail guests remember most isn’t something they simply saw. It’s something they experienced, created, or carried home with them. Rockaway Botanica is based in New York City, serving the Tri-State Area and destinations throughout the Northeast.
