It's hard to properly describe our gratitude for Roberta. We ended up using her twice: once in an intimate ceremony for just our family, and again at our full blown reception a year later. No one could possibly be prepared for what happened in 2020, but Roberta from the outset was flexible, creative, and patient as we put together the pieces of two completely different weddings. Photography was the most important vendor we scouted because not only did we want beautiful, timeless photos- which we got- we also wanted to feel relaxed and comfortable around someone who would spend most of the day with us. We had so much trust in Roberta and her vision which helped us sit back and enjoy the day. We are so happy with how everything turned out and hope we find an opportunity for her to capture more of our life moments down the road.

Finding a wedding photographer that not only provided us with the most BEAUTIFUL pictures (within 3 weeks!!!) while being the most fun and easy-going person was a highlight of our wedding. From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures, she made us both feel extremely comfortable and captured the most special candid moments of us as well as all of our family and friends. She was the absolute best to work with and we highly recommend her to any couple looking for the perfect photographer to capture their wedding day.

Destination Wedding: Umbria, Italy
The 2 biggest challenges of planning a destination wedding were the unpredictable weather and not knowing our vendors. There was nothing we could do to change the weather so we crossed our fingers and prayed the wedding coordinator hired the finest professionals to seamlessly organize our day. But there was one vendor we refused to leave to chance, our wedding photographer. Inclement weather or not, we wanted the best photographer to capture the beauty of our Italian wedding. We planned our entire wedding date around Roberta Nicole Photography because that was the only time Roberta was available to travel to Italy with us.

Fortunate doesn’t begin to describe how we felt to work with Roberta. Her prep work began long before arriving in Italy; researching the surrounding village, sending us pictures of locations where we could take our personal photos, and monitoring the weather. Four days before we were to say I DO, the wedding planner bumped our wedding date up, but that didn’t faze Roberta. Arriving in Umbria, she scoped out the villa, planned her shots, considered lighting and calculated last minute changes with an enthusiastic eye. She was thorough and committed to providing the best service possible.

Relaxed and with a confident demeanor; Roberta was easy to work with, diminishing the anxiety and stress of such a big occasion. She is prompt, stays on schedule and is sensitive to couples who want her to capture every moment of their special day, but who also want to spend quality time celebrating with family and friends. Roberta put everyone at ease and made it a fun experience. In spite of our cold windy day, her exceptional talent is evident in her beautiful photos, especially when it came to capturing the best light.

One of the things we liked most about working with Roberta is that she sent us a questionnaire to help us plan shots, emphasizing that our day should reflect who we are as a couple. She wanted to know if we had any special groupings, props, traditions or events that we wanted photographed. This helped tremendously so little details weren’t forgotten. Similarly, this allowed Roberta to develop a timeline and make awesome suggestions so we didn’t have to make tough decisions and last minute changes on our wedding day.
Roberta was attentive to our style, requests, and open to ideas. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our wedding photographs! The personal shots are creative and planned from a unique perspective. The gallery is neatly and beautifully organized in a format that retells the story of our special day. An unexpected surprise - Roberta sent us a few ‘teaser’ pictures to view while we were on our 3-week honeymoon and even more astonishing, the entire gallery was ready a day after we returned from Italy! You will not be disappointed in hiring Roberta Nicole Photography; there simply isn’t a better choice.

My husband was not the most opinionated with wedding planning so when we walked out of our first meeting with Roberta and he said we needed to book her immediately, I knew it wasn't just me that thought she was great. Roberta is so professional and organized and not to mention, her pictures are rad! We were blown away by how great our engagement photos and wedding day photos turned out. She captured every moment I was hoping for and made us feel comfortable along the way. She is great at capturing natural moments with your partner and your photos really speak to your personalities. Of all of the incredible vendors we selected for our wedding, Roberta was my absolute favorite person to work with. She was such a pleasure to be around, kept things light and fun at the engagement session and the wedding, and most importantly, she captured the best moments of the BEST day. She took the time to understand who we are as people so that she could capture photos that showed our personalities and love for one another. I will forever be grateful to her for that. You never want to have those important one-in-a-lifetime moments missed or feel like you're entrusting an amateur to do the work of a professional as you're about to walk down the aisle. Fact is, my wife and I couldn't have been any happier with the service that Roberta provided. From the moment we sat down with her for our initial consultation, we knew she was a true professional and that she would do a great job. She kept in contact with us months before our wedding and gave us consistent updates on the status of our photos afterwards. We loved all the memories she captured for us! From our engagement photos to wedding photos, Roberta captured our relationship perfectly! She strives to make each photoshoot as individual as the couple. She somehow sweet-talked the owner of the coffee shop my husband and I had our first date at into letting us take our engagement photos at their place of business. On the wedding day, Roberta was organized and made sure to keep to our photo schedule/timeline so that we got all of the shots we wanted while also having enough time to party with our guests. I highly recommend her!

The final product is absolutely breathtaking. Our photos are just stunning. Roberta took care to get all of the formal shots we wanted, as well as my "wish list" of other poses (my bridesmaids all flexing their muscles , for example), and some hilarious and charming candid shots. I'm really not sure if my actual wedding was as gorgeous as Roberta portrayed it in her work!

My fiancé and I were in California last summer to plan our destination wedding. We were out in Del Mar having lunch with his mom and family friends when we saw Roberta taking pictures at the bar of the hotel. I asked my fiancé if I should go ask for her business card but I wasn't sure if it was the appropriate time, I didn't go ask for it. When we got in the car my mother in law gave me her card!
