After going through this process, I'd have to say that the most important thing in selecting vendors is finding people who encourage calmness, and really add to the feel of the day you are trying to create.

Jesse is wonderful to work with. He is an incredibly calming force. And he's able to pull out wonderful stories and insights from which to talk about in his wedding speech. He has a great sense of humor, and is just a lot of fun to go through this process with. He also had the unique ability to befriend and gain the trust of our liberal athiest, jewish and catholic relatives - reminding everyone of the importance of the event, no matter the religious affiliation. Jesse will create a unique, lovely ceremony for you - I highly recommend him.

Jesse then takes your reflections and crafts a lovely ceremony around who you are as people. He aims to brings everyone in the room on a journey so that in the end, they feel carried through a meaningful experience.

My fiance and I had a completely secular ceremony with no traditions to speak of. Jesse drew from his knowledge and experience to suggest ways to enhance the ceremony so that it had a satisfying beginning, middle, and end. His suggestions all made good sense and, in the few instances that they didn't feel like "us", he was flexible.

In all, we are so happy to have been married by Jesse. His presence brought a beautiful peace on our wedding day.
