We were planning on having our friend be our officiant but she was diagnosed with breast cancer not long ago. On top of now worrying for our friend, we now had to find a new officiant. Audette was absolutely lovely and was very sensitive about our friend. We come from a complex religious background (I'm the product of a Jewish-Christian couple raised Unitarian Universalist, my partner was raised conservative Christian and now identifies as an atheist) and Audette handled all that smoothly. She worked closely with us to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. She created a personalized ceremony that spoke to everyone in the room regardless of their religious leanings. As my friend put it "that was a really good advertisement for Unitarianism, just mixing everything in and using neutral yet moving and spiritual language to create a wonderful experience."

Audette was absolutely wonderful. She was very eager to meet with us a few times before the ceremony in order to discuss every option that was available to us for making our ceremony perfect. She has done several weddings, all of which have been unique in their own ways. She was very open minded about needing our needs and wishes. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond the call of duty, helping set up our sand ceremony and coordinating with each bridal party to make sure everything went smoothly.
