Brittany and Grant were the best team we could have asked for! We loved our engagement photos with Brittany, she was so easy to work with and has great energy. She also worked with our dogs to get great photos of them as well! Brittany's prompt replies and attention to detail made planning a breeze! On our wedding day they were both very professional, fun and a joy to work with. We loved the details they both captured and the end result. Also, the price is great for all that they offer, especially if you also do videography! We highly recommend them for all your photography and videography needs!

Brittany and her husband are incredibly kind and did an AMAZING job capturing both our engagement and our wedding. They were an absolute joy to work with, and took beautiful pictures that exceeded our expectations. Brittany strikes a perfect balance of providing direction and allowing situations to evolve naturally so that our own personalities and ideas could shine through. She also brings such a calm energy and is incredibly organized and responsive - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. The pictures they took really matched our vision and beautifully depict memories together and with our friends and family. We hired Rettig to shoot our small wedding in April and our package was to include one photographer. When they arrived, we ended up getting two photographers, as one of them was very pregnant and thought it best to have a 2nd pair of hands on deck. They didn't charge us any more, even tho they could have. This was just one gesture we wholeheartedly appreciated, not only for our wedding/us, but also for the sake of their expecting photographer and her energy levels as they were scheduled to be there quite late. Second, I always hate photos of myself...always. And the way the photos were shot I felt great consideration was given to how self conscious they knew I was about my figure and appearance. I actually noticed this immediately and felt they truly listened to me when I expressed my concern. And third, we compared about 3 or 4 photographers recommended to us by our venue, and the quality of Rettig's photos as compared to others who, while their price point was better, made it clear not everyone knows their way around a camera. Rettigs shots and quality of photos was far superior. They're well worth the money!! For all of these reasons I highly highly recommend them.

Brittany and Grant captured our day PERFECTLY. My husband and I don’t naturally enjoy taking photos, so I knew any photographer would have the daunting task of making us not look awkward. Brittany and Grant showered us with compliments, made us genuinely laugh, and were just so easy to talk to and enjoy! I looked back at my photos and I can see that I am genuinely smiling and laughing. They got so many great photos of us and our guests! Now I’m only stuck with the problem of deciding which pictures to print! Bonus: they don’t play the game of making you pay for a certain number of photos or anything like that. We got them all!

We will never forget our experience with Brittany and Grant. They were more than incredible and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable as soon as they started their amazing work. I (the bride) am very shy and an introvert but they both made me feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. My husband will forever remember the funny times he had with Grant and how much he made all of the men feel so comfortable in front of the camera by cracking a few jokes. Every time I watch the highlight and look at our pictures I can’t help but feel so incredibly happy and emotional. Brittany and Grant exceeded our expectations and I am so happy to have met them. Brittany and Grant are spectacular! We first came across them as a recommendation by our wedding venue Valley Mills Farm in Staunton, VA.
