About

Red Bird Hills Photography was born on October 22, 2009. Red Bird Hills philosophy was born on my grandmother's porch sometime in the late-80s. Both of us, much younger then, took the time to notice the little things…the occasional spotting of grandma's favorite red bird, the Cardinal, the warm summer air, the setting of the majestic Smoky Mountains and the soundtrack that nature generously provided. It was then and there that I learned to appreciate the simple life. It was then and there that I learned what is truly important.

As I learn and grow with this beautiful gift that is my work, photography, I am reminded to stop and take it all in once in a while…and celebrate what's simple.

I look forward to helping bring out the simple beauty in your life.

Tasha (and her assistant) were fabulous to work with. During the planning process, Tasha was great at returning my emails and answering my questions in a timely fashion--which led me to really put all my faith and trust in her during the wedding day.

Our ceremony was held in Minnesota in January {outside} and, although a titch cold, Tasha and assistant showed up ready to roll and weren't concerned about the weather at all--set a great example for the rest of the wedding party as well.

Tasha is very sweet and easy to work with--I would recommend her to anyone!!

Tasha Herrgot of Red Bird Hills absolutely captured our amazing wedding day flawlessly! It poured down rain and she was so flexible with the weather conditions and the chaos! Tasha vacationed with us to our destination wedding location and was a positive voice during a very hot day! :-) She is very professional and yet relaxed at the same time, making you feel very comfortable during your shoot. Her editing is amazing and her eye for uniqueness is nothing like I've ever seen before. She is simply excellent!

Tasha Herrgott, of Red Bird Hills, is the most talented photographer! Not only does she have an eye for those hidden shots, but she is extremely friendly and professional. The bridesmaids and myself were running late getting ready, Tasha kept the photos rolling and made sure to accomplish all the special pictures on my list. She goes above and beyond in all she does. First of all - photography to me was one of my most important decisions to make in planning my wedding. I had seem Tasha's work with a few of my friends and booking her was the first thing I knew I needed with my wedding. She was an amazing photographer from the beginning to the end. One of the most important parts of our wedding photography was capturing the moment when my husband first saw me and Tasha did an amazing job of documenting that moment. The rest of the day went along very smoothly and the end result was exaclty what we were looking for - and then some! I will always recommend Tasha for future brides and weddings!

We booked Tasha/Red Bird Hills even before the company had a name! I knew her photos would be amazing and she'd capture every moment of our wedding day beautifully! She did not dissapoint!
