Rachel Martin Photography is a professional wedding photographer based in Newtonville, Massachusetts. Company owner and lead photographer, Rachel, has been capturing wedding events full time for the past five years. Prior to this, she studied Professional Photography at the New England School of Photography and trained in documentary and fine art photography. Rachel is passionate about her craft and will go to any lengths to ensure she captures a moment perfectly.

Rachel is happy to travel to photograph your celebration and only books one event per day in order to dedicate herself fully to your event. Additional hours and a second photographer can also be provided to ensure that every special moment is captured. Happy Husband and Wife

Rachel photographed both our wedding and shower. We could not have worked with a more professional, knowledgeable, creative photographer. She has wonderful out of the box ideas while incorporating more traditional thinking with her photography. Her calm and steady nature was a reassuring influence on everyone on the day of our wedding. Wonderful Wedding Day Photos

We had a great experience working with Rachel for our wedding and engagement shoots! She is professional, organized, and really took the time to listen and execute on everything we were hoping for. Speaking as someone who is camera shy, Rachel has an upbeat yet calming presence that really helped me get through the formal picture-taking experience. She made me feel as comfortable as possible and boy is she patient! Our pictures came out beautifully, and we are extremely happy with our decision to work with her (and her assistant Henry was awesome too!). She really excelled at capturing the beautiful, goofy, special moments. Rachel will be our go-to photographer for all future photo shoots!

Wouldn't recommend anyone else, Rachel is AMAZING

I cannot say enough about Rachel. My husband and I met her when she photographed our engagement and I knew right then I needed her for my wedding. She was quick to respond to any questions I had and made the day flow so nicely. She got every shot I wanted and then some. The pictures were AMAZING, I couldn't have asked for a better photographer

Absolutely amazing

My boyfriend and I had a great experience doing our maternity photo shoot together. Rachel was very helpful and told us exactly what to do. I would recommend her for any type of photo shoot you are looking for.

Personalized, Professional, and Positive Experience!

We chose to work with Rachel as our wedding photographer, and could not have been happier with the decision. It was important to us to choose someone who has experience and a degree in photography, as knowledge about the camera and ability to capture artistic shots was extremely important to us. When we worked with Rachel for our engagement shoot, we were immediately impressed with her flexibility, attention to detail with each shot, but, most importantly, her relaxed approach which helped us feel comfortable in an awkward situation. For our wedding day, she provided us with the same experience and we are so pleased with the moments she captured on our big day! We would highly recommend Rachel. Thank you, Rachel!

Rachel is a find!

Rachel generously donates her time and talent to a tennis fundraiser, capturing exceptional action shots and the positive energy of the day, and has also photographed a formal family event and took candid and formal shots. Great job, for any kind of occasion, and great attitude,

Made me feel so taken care of and she is so professional!

Planning a wedding in a pandemic was not ideal, but Rachel made me feel secure in her expertise, professionalism and flexibility. She listens to what you envision your special day to be and she brings it to life through her work! She is very organized and personable, and I knew I was in good hands from the start. she captured my day perfectly, even the small details. I would highly recommend Rachel Martin Photography!

The Worst Experience

Worst wedding photographer experience. She was chaotic and aggressive with her manner day-of the wedding. She didn't follow through with any of the edits of the photos that she described (editing watches out, filtering them, editing out shadows, etc.) and the photos looked completely blurry, unprofessional, and untouched, something we could've taken on the latest iPhone. Since the day of the wedding, it has been utterly impossible tracking her down to get her to touch up the photos or provide the print photos or USB drive that we paid for. We can't even get the code to download the photos we paid for to edit or print them on our own. She hasn't responded to my emails, texts, or phone calls. She took our money and ran. It's such an important, once in a lifetime occasion, and we can't have a re-do of it. I would give Rachel zero stars, but that isn't allowed on this site. I wouldn't trust the other reviews on this site and would look elsewhere for a wedding photographer, wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.
