About

Rabbi Robyn Frisch in Villanova, Pennsylvania, is an ordained rabbi who has officiated hundreds of weddings, and I still approach each one as something deeply personal. If I ever stopped feeling excited to meet each couple, hear their story, and craft a ceremony that truly fits them, I'd stop officiating weddings. Every couple is different, and your ceremony should be too. Couples often tell me, "I can't believe you haven't known us our whole lives." That's the greatest compliment I could receive. I take real time to get to know you (your story, your families, your values, your sense of humor, etc.), and I guide you through every part of the ceremony so nothing feels mysterious or intimidating. Together, we create a ceremony that honors Jewish tradition while reflecting who you are as a couple. My ceremonies are loving, meaningful, and warm; and when it fits your style, I weave in gentle humor. I officiate Jewish weddings (traditional and creative) and interfaith weddings with one Jewish partner for straight and LGBTQ+ couples. My basic fee includes at least three meetings to get to know you and plan your ceremony, with additional meetings available at no extra cost (including premarital pastoral counseling, if desired). We can meet in person or on Zoom; I like to meet at least once in person before the wedding. I also suggest a meeting with couples and parents. Meeting with parents is optional, but always meaningful, and it helps everyone feel more at ease. I offer a complimentary initial meeting because finding the right officiant matters. You deserve someone who feels like the right fit. I'd be honored if, after we meet, you decide that I'm the right officiant for you, and I'd get to be part of such a meaningful moment in your lives.

The best wedding officiant for our interfaith wedding!

Rabbi Robyn Frisch officiated our interfaith wedding. We had a fantastic experience working with her from start to finish. She was patient in taking the time to get to know us as a couple. She listened to what was important for us to incorporate into our wedding ceremony to make it unique and personal while still maintaining important traditional aspects as well. She made an often stressful experience very easy to navigate and for that, I am so grateful. Our wedding guests still comment on how much they loved our personal wedding ceremony and I know that is thanks to Rabbi Robyn. We highly recommend her as an officiant.

Excellent end-to-end experience - personalized, balanced, well-rounded

Rabbi Frisch was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She met with us in advance to really get to know us, our story, and what mattered to us most. She thoughtfully crafted a Jewish ceremony that felt personal and meaningful. We were especially appreciative of her willingness to officiate our Saturday wedding. The ceremony was warm, inclusive, and beautifully balanced tradition with our personal story. We received many compliments from our guests and we always recommend her with the highest regard. She handles weddings, baby namings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and other life events that come your way.

Rabbi Robyn!

Getting married in 2020 meant constant change, uncertainty, and tough decisions. We rescheduled and canceled three different wedding dates before ultimately choosing what felt right for us—an intimate ceremony with our closest friends and family. Through every single change, Rabbi Robyn supported us without hesitation. She met every decision with grace, flexibility, and genuine joy, making us feel completely at peace during an incredibly stressful time. Our ceremony was filled with meaning, warmth, and honor, and we couldn’t have imagined anyone better by our side. I truly wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Amazing contemporary Rabbi

Rabbi Robyn was amazing to work with. She got to know us and spent time helping us customize our ceremony so that it reflected who we are as a couple. My husband is Filipino and so we blended my Jewish background and customs with a few Filipino things along the way. This helped make both sets of our parents feel honored and included during the ceremony. Rabbi Robyn was accommodating, creative and an overall joy to work with. She genuinely cares about each couple she marries and wad the perfect choice to complete our special day. Thank you for everything Rabbi Robyn!
