Looking for guidance while wedding planning is SO stressful - it’s hard to know where to start, especially planning a destination wedding (we live in Northern CA). We had our venue and our photographer but nothing else, so, being the researcher I am, I hopped on Google and began searching for “best planners in Orange County.” I found a few options, Pure Lavish included, and started submitting inquiries. I wasn’t sure about what kind of support we needed. I think when you start planning, you’re like “I can do everything myself and only need minimal support.” I was SO wrong - more to come on that.

Pure Lavish stood out immediately. Carrie, the owner of PL, was the one to respond to my inquiry with a customized, non-robotic, hilarious email that acknowledged my silly inquiry about not knowing what I needed. That interaction was a huge selling point for me. She quickly set me up with one of PL’s planners, Samantha.

To say that I clicked with Sam would be the understatement of the century. Her bubbly energy and openness made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. She was so knowledgeable and so helpful in answering my questions about what kind of support we needed. In my original budget, I didn’t plan on including a wedding planner, but I quickly realized just how important it was to have an expert as our guide along the way, as well as a creative lens to help with design. We signed with PL almost immediately after and didn’t think twice.

Over the next few months, it became clear just how well-connected PL is in Orange County. I had a pretty clear vision with a pre-defined budget that Sam knew exactly how to support. She identified all of the right vendors for what we were looking for and what our desired spend was for each part of the wedding. I ended up not doing anything myself and outsourcing everything because we loved all of the vendors so much. The network that PL brings to the relationship is probably one of the biggest considerations you should make as a bride.

My mom and I made a few trips down to Southern CA to do live planning, select rentals, tastings, etc - it was SO awesome to see Sam in her element and to experience vendor relationships live. PL has such a stellar reputation in Orange County - that was abundantly clear every time we met someone new that we were working with. No trip to OC will ever be complete without seeing Sam!

The time, energy, and excitement that Sam contributed to our wedding were truly incomparable. Her design board and ideas based on my feedback were absolutely perfect. We incorporated 100% of her ideas into our day and made our guests feel so special with all of the personalized recommendations that she made. The attention to detail, the command of the wedding party to keep things in line, and the ridiculous organization skills that she possesses are what defined the overall success of the weekend.

On wedding day, the PL team showed up in FULL FORCE. We were so honored to have Carrie there to support us, and our bridal concierge Caroline was the definition of “being in the right place at the right time.” A MIND READER! The worst part of the day was my shoe heel breaking (not bad, right?) and Caroline somehow crafted a clay pearl to match the ones on the broken heel. Absolutely brilliant.

The PL team has become family. I won’t ever be able to thank them enough for making our day the most wonderful day of our lives! I’ll also never get sick of the regular flow of compliments that we’re still getting 9 months later….

Where do I even begin to write my review about Caroline, Samantha, Carrie, and the entire Pure Lavish team? My husband and I had such an incredible experience with this group that there are not enough words for us to begin to thank each and every one of them! I know this is a long review, but I promise it is worth the read….

We hired Pure Lavish a year before our wedding after working with another wedding planner who turned out to be a disaster. Our previous planner had wasted our time and money, treated us with rude and demeaning behavior, and quite frankly, traumatized us. We were scared to hire another planner after our previous negative experience, but after many hours of research and recommendations, we were lucky enough to find Pure Lavish. From the first time we spoke to them, we knew they were determined to turn our experience (and our wedding) around!

They were able to take a tough situation and turn it into the wedding of our dreams. Caroline Leggio was our lead planner and designer. We cannot thank her enough for everything she has done. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail are unmatched. What makes Caroline so special is that she truly cares about her couples and she always puts them first. Trust me, Caroline is THE woman you want on your side throughout the process and on the big day!

During the planning process, Caroline saw our wedding vision and listened to us. She created an absolutely beautiful design that was elevated, unique, and elegant. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more! She was not just respectful, but actually protective of our budget and treated every single dollar as if it was her own - advising us on what she felt was worth the spend and suggesting various ways that we could save. She answered endless emails and calls with patience and grace. She was always responsive, transparent, and happy to answer questions we had. She was also there to help navigate any challenges as they popped up. She provided her recommendations, always looked for solutions, and created a stress-free planning experience for us.

Caroline is also extremely organized. She remembers every detail, even things we may have forgotten, and ensures they are completed. She was ALWAYS one step ahead of us - proactively sending emails to vendors, getting quotes, setting things up, and thinking of ways to make things better and easier for us without ever being asked. She truly went above and beyond. A great example of this behavior was a few days after our wedding, when I realized I didn't get a copy of the menu or our place cards for scrapbook keepsakes. I was pretty sad and actually emailed our stationary vendor to see if she could print replicas. A few hours later, I was cleaning up some wedding boxes and there they were - perfectly preserved and neatly placed in a bag by Caroline without us ever asking. She did this because she knew I was sentimental and would want them for later. Another example is on our wedding day, when she remembered our favorite cocktails and had them passed to us on a tray right after the ceremony. These are just a few examples, but she did little things like this a million times during the planning process and on our wedding day. She is truly the best!

Caroline helped us assemble an all-star vendor team for our wedding. Her recommendations for vendors were amazing and each vendor we worked with was a master at their craft - from the florist, to rentals, stationary, videography, DJ, and more. She not only helped us pick the best vendors to execute our vision, but also people who were genuinely nice and supportive. Her recommendations were spot on and she helped us select a team that executed our vision flawlessly.

On top of it all, Caroline has the most incredible positive attitude and demeanor. She was not just a wedding planner, she became part of the family. She is a friend to everyone. Our venue and vendors loved working with her. As we were checking out of the hotel after the wedding, the hotel manager came up to us to share how much she loved Caroline! For a 5 star hotel who does a lot of high end weddings, that says something! Our friends and family can also not stop raving about her, because each and every one of them had such positive interactions with her.

On the day of the wedding, Caroline and the Pure Lavish team were cool, calm, collected and complete professionals. Caroline managed everything perfectly and once again, went above and beyond to make each detail beautiful. She brought such a positive energy to our wedding and truly cared about making it the best day possible for us. On the wedding day, she even helped wipe sand from my shoes after running on the beach for photos. She hates feet, but she loves her brides more! Once again, this is just one of many instances of Caroline doing what she does best - treating each bride like family and going out of her way to make sure your wedding is perfect for you.

Caroline was also accompanied by Samantha Oropallo on the wedding day, who was our bridal concierge. WOW!! Sam and Caroline are the absolute dream team. While Caroline was running the whole production, Sam stayed with me and the bridesmaids to help us get ready. Sam was a lifesaver on the wedding day - she brought organization, positivity, and joy to a busy day. She helped me into my dress, fixed my hair, assisted my mother, gave me food and water, and rode around on a golf cart with me all day. Somehow, she also managed to wrangle 12 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, and 4 parents, and 1 grandparent. She even helped my husband cover up a stain on his shirt the morning of the wedding. She is truly a lifesaver and an absolute gem. I had no idea how instrumental she would be on the wedding day. We would have been a mess without her. She made both my husband and I feel so taken care of and at ease - we will never forget her kindness and compassion that day. Thank you Sam for making our wedding day so enjoyable and easy!!

If you have read this review and choose to hire Caroline Leggio as your wedding planner, consider yourself lucky because you just hit the jackpot. You would be hard pressed to find anyone more capable, talented, smart, fun, thoughtful, and kind to help you plan your perfect day. Hiring Caroline was the best decision we ever made and we cannot wait to work with her for other events for many years to come! There are so many things I would love to say about Pure Lavish events, but I will first start with saying they are THE BEST. Choosing to go with Pure Lavish was one of the easiest choices my husband and I made. We got to work with Alexa who is just the most pure and genuine soul! She made our dream come to life - and actually made it 10x better than I could have ever even imagined. Getting to our big day was a rough one, as it was for many Covid brides. I remember the moment of having to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021 - Alexa was there with the most positive outlook and words of encouragement, something we were lacking on our end. She kept us going and it was worth it in the end! Her eye for detail is crazy good! We did not have the largest budget and somehow she still made the day feel like a fairytale. Between Alexa and the rest of the staff at Pure Lavish, the planning and day of process was seamless. I can not say how thankful I am to this team and specifically to Alexa. If you are looking for a sign of whether or not to go with Pure Lavish, this is it! Book them, you won't regret it.

After being a bridesmaid in a wedding which Caroline Smith Leggio had planned, when it came time for my own wedding, she immediately came to mind. Being a bridesmaid you get a taste of the planner, and I saw that Caroline was extremely professional, poised and overall good at her job. It was enough to hire her, but being the bride, I was able to see so much more. Throughout the process of planning, I saw that Caroline is intelligent, caring and devoted. On the week/weekend of my wedding, she was calm and knew exactly how to manage the many vendors that we hired. During the reception, it meant so much to me that in addition to managing each vendor and our detailed timeline, she executed on the little things, too. A perfect example is that prior to the wedding weekend, I briefly asked for champagne in a certain goblet during cocktail hour. I would have completely forgotten about it, had Caroline not been on the curb waiting for me as my car pulled up, smiling, goblets in hand. I have already highly recommended her, and I will continue to do so.

Working with Caroline was simply the best experience possible and if I could give her 500,000 stars, I would. From the design phase with the most perfect mood board to navigating postponing a wedding during a global pandemic to then executing the MOST perfect wedding, I cannot recommend working with her enough. I have worked in events for over a decade and was personally so impressed with how seamless Caroline made sure everything went through our special day. We never felt out of the loop, but also never felt overwhelmed and we owe a majority of that to Caroline's hard work and efforts. Everything truly was perfect and we know we have Caroline largely to thank for that!

I have a million things I can say about Carrie Traver and the Pure Lavish team. Hiring Carrie as our planner was the first decision we made in the planning process and probably the most important. I spoke with a number of different planners in OC, but I instantly connected with Carrie -- and I knew whomever I hired would become an integral part of my life over the next year and a half. We brought on the Pure Lavish team for full-service planning, and we are SO glad we did. We began planning our May 2021 wedding in January 2020, and spent a year+ navigating planning a wedding during a pandemic. To be blunt: This wedding would not have happened without Carrie. I was an anxious mess, but Carrie kept me calm, sane, excited and on track (no matter how many times I tried to postpone due to Covid craziness!). We were lucky enough not to have to postpone or cut our guest list, but Carrie and the team helped us pivot on a few minor details to ensure our wedding would happen safely. Lauren was our designer, and she was also incredible. Design was so important to me, but I have no eye for design. Lauren not only executed my vision better than I could've, but she made the process incredibly fun and helped us make decisions based on our budget that we found incredibly helpful. I had a number of design, floral and details meetings with Lauren, and I left every meeting feeling more excited than before. My husband had no idea what the wedding would actually LOOK like, and he was truly blown away. I'll never forget seeing his face when he saw the reception space and after party. Both Carrie and Lauren have strong relationships with vendors (and venues!) that came in incredibly handy during the pandemic (and surely would've under normal circumstances!). I trusted them to advise on all of our vendors, and we were very happy with all of them -- from entertainment to signage and stationary, and even our confetti cannon! If you have an idea, they have someone to help you execute on that idea. On the day of the wedding, I had Gia as my Bridal Concierge, and she was amazing; calming, collected and not afraid to get her hands dirty and step in when she needed to. We also had Caroline and Sam O. help us day-of, and they were equally as fantastic. Sam even helped my grandma, who suffers from dementia, find her room when she got lost on the night of the wedding -- something she did not have to do, but was so meaningful to my family. I truly cannot recommend Pure Lavish enough. I miss them already and am already drumming up ideas for the next event they can plan for me!

Lauren at Pure Lavish brought our biggest wedding dreams to life, and we could not be more grateful! She helped us navigate everything seamlessly and was always there to answer our numerous questions. 2020 has been a crazy year, but despite covid she helped create the most perfect wedding. It was beyond what we could have imagined and we owe it all to her! Even my husband won't stop talking about how great she was. Thank you so much! We could not recommend Lauren and the Pure Lavish team more.

I cannot say enough great things about Pure Lavish. Tori was our wedding planner and she truly went above and beyond for our special day. She communicates so effectively and quickly, she is on top of everything, and so organized. She made our day so perfect and it’s truly because of her and her hard work throughout the entire planning process. She always gave great recommendations and advice along the way. On the day of the wedding I had Samantha helping out as well and wow, she is also incredible! She made sure we had everything we needed and helped me get ready and stay looking my best all night. I’m so grateful for Pure Lavish and their assistance to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams!

When planning a wedding, you make a ton of decisions, selections, choices etc. And if you are a chronic over-analyzer/over-thinker like I am, just the thought of this will give you anxiety. But there was one choice that was easy to make. And that was hiring Pure Lavish. Sam was our coordinator and was she was absolutely perfect. She was the perfect blend of best friend/problem solver/planner. She always pointed me in the right direction. She was responsive, helpful, easy to talk to. The moment you meet her you feel like you've known her forever. My wedding day was a dream. I didn't have to think about anything except being married. And that is absolutely priceless. She made a phenomenal schedule and kept everyone on the timeline, but was so friendly and polite while doing it. She made sure that we had everything that we wanted. She's like a very pretty wedding ninja. I'd blink and she was bustling my dress. Then I'd blink again and she was handing me champagne. I'd blink and she was helping with florals. Blink again, she's getting everyone ready for cake cutting. She is truly amazing.
