I was concerned about finding a seamstress who was familiar with wedding gowns and when I came across this business I was thrilled. From the first interaction, lines of communication were open and she was honest and upfront about her services and pricing (which was very reasonable). I had 2 visits – the first was to discuss what I needed altered on my wedding gown and the second was to try on the dress after the alterations were complete.

My dress was perfect and they even steamed my veil for me! Transparent pricing, great customer service, and great work are what I received when working with this small business owner. I will be working with them for all my formal gown alterations in the future!

I'm so happy I found Priscilla Costa Bridal! I previously committed to use the seamstress recommended by the bridal boutique where I'd bought my gown (out of state)...she seemed like a nice and experienced lady but had a conflict and had to cancel. What a happy accident, because it forced me to search again, and find Priscilla Costa Bridal!

Initially I was surprised that Priscilla only needed me to come in for two fittings, instead of the three I had always been quoted. Because she also designs and builds custom gowns to order, she knows dresses inside and out, and has a great eye for style. After I shrugged off the typical bustle options that my previous seamstress had suggested, Priscilla came up with a third option -- to keep a short but manageable train -- that highlighted the lace detail all over my skirt, instead of covering it up (which would have been a shame!). She delivered everything she promised and at a reasonable price. I hope to work with her again in the future!

Priscilla is amazingly talented and such a pleasure to work with. You can tell she loves her job and worked so hard to ensure my gown looked exactly like I envisioned it. It came out perfectly!

She performed flawless and beautiful alteration work on my wedding dress. I was very nervous to have anyone work on my dress but my first consultation with her ended up becoming my first fitting because I knew I was in excellent hands. My wedding was this past weekend and the endless compliments including the assumptions that since the dress fit me so well the whole thing must have been custom. Not only did Priscilla make my store-bought Maggie Sottero wedding dress fit like a glove, having to remove and and reapply the many intricate buttons and long zipper among other alterations, but she was also very accommodating to my schedule and just such a pleasure to work with. I was very happy have her included in the whole wedding experience!

I bought my dress in California and had to have it shipped to me in the Philadelphia area. This created two problems: other bridal salons wouldn't alter my dress because I didn't purchase it there and it put me in a time crunch. I was referred to Priscilla by Ariel's Bridal Salon where I purchased my veil. Priscilla was amazing! My dress had a ton of detail such as lace and beading and layers of tulle. And it had to be taken in at the bodice due to weight loss. Priscilla had about 3 weeks start to finish to alter my dress. It fit like a glove and fell to the floor at exactly the right length. I literally could not have had a better experience working with Priscilla and her team. They are amazing!

I also enjoyed looking at the stunning gowns she hand made that are hanging in her shop.

Priscilla did a great job with the alterations of my wedding dress, which definitely required a lot of work. My dress had straps which she removed and transformed into a strapless dress with a sweet heart neckline. I'm an out of state bride and she was extremely accommodating with my sometimes limited time frame. Priscilla was extremely easy to work with and I would go back to her for other alterations.

Priscilla is gifted. I handed her a dress that I did not love, but loved the fabric and an idea in my head. Not only did Priscilla display a positive attitude and professionalism, she made me a gorgeous dress that exceeded my expectations. I felt beautiful and comfortable my entire wedding day.

I used Priscilla for the alterations for my wedding dress at the recommendation of my bridal salon, Arielle Bridal, and was not disappointed. Priscilla was wonderful to work with and is truly amazing at what she does. My dress was fairly complicated (all lace) and it turned out perfectly. I added a beaded belt, which I purchased online, and Priscilla did such a great job adding it into the dress that it looked like it was all one piece. I received so many compliments the day of my wedding about how perfectly my dress fit and this is all thanks to Priscilla! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!
