My husband and I love Primrose, so they were a no-brainer for our wedding dessert! The Charlotte Cecile sheet cake we ordered from them was delicious. However, the real star of the show were the mini cannolis! They were so cute and SO delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests about them.

Planning a wedding during COVID was definitely a challenge, but Jesse and his team were amazing. When we needed to push our wedding out a year, Jesse worked with me to update the contract. Not only were the cake and mini desserts beautiful, but they were delicious too. I highly recommend him and his team!

The dessert bar was such a hit we didn't even get any. The cake was perfect and very moist.

So my wife and I debated on how much we wanted to spend for the cake. We heard from friends and family that the cake isn't necessarily the thing guests remember from weddings. We decided to do a couple of taste tests around the area and when we did our Primrose Bakery tasting, we fell in love. We decided to go with a three tiered cake with each layer slightly different tastes. If we could re-do all of it, we would choose the tira misu flavor for the base layer because it was an immediate hit! Primrose was able to change the minds of our advisors who said people wouldn't remember the cake- we had multiple people reach out to us after the wedding to extend their gratitude for inviting them to our special event, but also to mention that the cake was delicious. Neither my wife nor I are huge on sugary cakes yet this cake hit the spot.

They were flexible in their timeline to deliver the cake as our venue had strict rules for food as it is a well kept vineyard supporting multiple weddings a week. If you are looking for a bakery that is friendly, flexible, and delivers a delicious cake, Primrose Bakery is highly recommended!

From the tasting to the creation of our cake to the taste of the cake - this was an all around WIN!

We can’t thank Jesse and Primrose Bakery enough. The service was wonderful throughout. They are a preferred vendor with Ruby Hill Golf Club and we met them through an event there. They scheduled a tasting for us on Valentine’s Day (my request) and there wasn’t a flavor I was mad at. We ended up with the Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Tiramisu.

We talked about my design ideas, I like simple but elegant and wanted to stick to a budget. Jesse was able to put those ideas on paper. We communicated mostly via email on the design. He patiently went back and forth with me on the design a few times because I’m indecisive but the end result was the most perfectly amazing cake that went so well with our perfectly amazing evening! It was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Not only was it breathtaking, it was delicious too. My guests raved about the cake and was sad they weren’t able to taste one of every flavor - it was that good. AND… we’ll get a cake to match our top tier for our first anniversary! Thanks Jesse!!!

We loved Primrose Bakery! We had our cake tasting here before any other bakeries and that pretty much ruined all the others we went to. His are light and fluffy, and you can actually eat a whole slice without feeling it drop in your stomach.

We designed our own cake with our colors, and he was on-board with everything. He said he would do whatever we wanted, and he sure did! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, and delicious! We made sure to tell our caterer that we wanted the top layer, and thank goodness we did because the rest got eaten at the wedding!

Out of this world cake. I had a 7 tier cake full of jewels. It was beautiful and very impressive.

Wedding was March 26, 2011. Cake was the last thing on our mind as my husband and I aren't big on sweets, but we went anyway... and for a person without a huge sweet tooth, i can honestly say i grew one when i came here! Cake was PHENOMENAL! Moist, light, fluffy, and delicious! The final product was beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and tasted even better than when we sampled it! My husband even ate his WHOLE piece! Amy was great to work with and very accomodating since we didn't live in the area. Kudos to the chef too, our guests are still ranting and raving about our cakes.
