We had our wedding cake made by Sugar, Butter, Flour and it turned out amazing! We gave them a specific theme and design of the cake we dreamt of and it turned out beautifully. They did a great job on our wedding cake! The cake was beautiful! They helped put our flowers on the cake from our florist. It was also very delicious. I recommend them for your wedding or event cake needs!

We used Sugar Butter Flour for our cupcakes and small cutting cake for our wedding. We ordered 150 cupcakes in 3 different flavors and they were all delicious! We got to do a complimentary tasting before ordering which was great because they and some really unique flavors that I wouldn't have necessarily just ordered without trying. They were timely when my FIL went to go pick them up and we had zero problems with them.

Sugar Butter Flour has created 2 wedding cakes for our family, and the most recent was even more spectacular than the first! The cake was delivered expertly and was like a beautiful, classic work of art. Every bite was moist, fresh, and filled with delicious ingredients. Our guests universally commented that it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! Thank you to Mojgan and her team for another outstanding job!

Yum! The cake was great, looked great. Once we had it ordered, they completely took care of it, coordinating with the reception site and the florist. We didn't have to give it a second thought. Also got to do a tasting well in advance and they were very generous and flexible regarding flavors and design. All in all, a very good experience!

We had met with three other bakeries prior to going to Sugar Butter Flour. Two of the bakeries would not use fondant and both did not offer square cakes. Then the other bakery did offer square cakes but charged more per layer, I was like "what? Your going to charge me more to cut cake off a round cake to make it square." And another bakery would not even offer delivery, how many people can really go pick up their wedding cake the day of there wedding? I sure didn't have time and I wouldn't trust picking it up and having to drive a hour to the reception site.
Ok back to Sugar Butter Flour now that I gave some bad on other places. We had our cake tasting about three and a half months before the wedding. It was very hard to pick between all the flavors. We worked with Matt and he was great. He actually let us make each layer of our cake different plus the sheet cake was a different flavor.
He also gave us some quotes on different style cakes that we were deciding between.
After deciding our cake we received an email with our contract.
At the reception the cake arrived early and it looked amazing. I was expecting some random person to show up with the cake that was just going to drop it and run. But it was actually Matt that arrived with it and he helped us place our wedding topper on top.
Another big reason I picked Sugar Butter Flour is because when they do your wedding cake they save your information and your cake in their system and they call you on your one year anniversary and give you a replica of the top tier of your cake for free. They even continue to save it after that in case you ever call down the line on your, for example, 25th anniversary and then they can create the top tier again.

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and cake was a high priority for us. We're dessert people, and we wanted to share our love of good cake with those who had been invited to share in our most special day with us.

We tasted more cake than we'd like to admit, but through it all Sugar Butter Flour stood out and never failed to impress. We worked with Matt in the Sunnyvale location. At our tasting he presented us with 10 or so flavor combinations (more than any other bakery we went to) and he was more than helpful as we worked our way through the delicious cake. He even let us take home what we didn't finish (which kept us from gorging ourselves in the store).

Throughout the rest of the process Matt continued to follow up with us, making sure that the cake we were getting was the cake of our dreams. He even asked us to bring in a sample of our wedding invitation so that he could match the color of cherry blossom design on the cake to our wedding invitations. Amazing detail-orientedness and follow through!

Our wedding day finally arrived and all were amazed and impressed by not only the beauty of the cake (and how perfectly it matched our color scheme) but also it's deliciousness. One layer devil's food with mocha buttercream, another layer white cake with marzipan and fresh strawberries (think princess cake, but lighter). People raved about our cake and for good reason.

Too often dessert is overlooked or the mass quality is not as good as when you first tasted it. Not so with SBF. They provide an excellent experience from start to finish. Five stars for SBF!

Sugar, Butter Flour was excellent every step of the way. At our tasting, we tried dozens of flavors and each flavor came in a WHOLE PIECE...not just enough for one bite. Kathleen DeManti made our cake and she was just wonderful. She provided sketches of what the cake could look like and helped me to tweak everything so it was exactly what I wanted. And, the TASTE! My husband and I have been married a year and people still tell us how wonderful our wedding cake tasted. I recommend Kathleen and Sugar, Butter, Flour 100%.
