From the day I got my custom engagement ring to my surprise necklace I got for my wedding day 6/14/19. My fiancé has loved working with Ilah and Jess to create custom jewelry for me. Ilah was incredibly helpful when designing my wife's engagement ring. She took lots of time going through subtle edits to the design, and was very responsive with questions about materials, design, and gems. She also helped design us a custom wedding band to pair with my wife's engagement ring, which we loved. We strongly recommenced Precious Metals for custom jewelry!

I had an engagement ring made by Precious Metals Sudbury from my grandmother's diamond rings. Ilah was able to make a custom ring for us reusing the main stone and some of the baguettes. The result far exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful way to honor my grandmother's memory.

I took this project to a number jewelers in order to compare price and 'feel out' how interested they were in working on a project like this. Precious Metals Sudbury was by far the most receptive to making a custom ring. (The ideas started basically when we walked into the shop and showed her what we had). Taking our ideas and making it into a practical engagement ring design was an enjoyable process.

The ring was done quickly (less than a month) and is of high quality. The stones are very well set. Overall I am extremely pleased with Precious Metals Sudbury and would happily work with them again on future projects.

I never knew it was possible to get such a high quality ring, hand-crafted just for me, that possessed either mined gems or lab-grown (EARTH FRIENDLY) gems - and get it from a place that treats you like family. They listened to my romantic story, spent hours working with me about tedious little details, had the answer for every question I bombarded them with, emailed me pictures and updates as they made my ring, and even held jewels for me in case I wanted to use the gems for another piece. I can't believe this unique work of ART that I get to propose to my girlfriend with. She will stand out with something beautiful on her finger that no one else in the whole world has. I could not be more grateful.

Also, because I started with a 3/4 carrot diamond from a pair of my mother's earnings (valued at ~$2,500) the ring cost me ~$2,200 overall. This included shipping, service to make the ring, cost of the jewels, and consultations (free). Overall, that ring is worth $5000-$6000.

My wife and i were very grateful for the professionalism and service displayed by Ilah in selecting our engagement ring and wedding bands. I recommend her and Precious Metals to all!

Ilah did an amazing job. We came in with a very specific 2D design, that we wanted translated into a set of matching wedding bands. Her suggestions for materials and adjustments to the design were great. She made a 3D computer model of the rings right in front of us and continued to send us updated versions as we revised the design. The rings came out exactly as we had imagined. Her execution of the details was perfect. We've received many compliments on our rings, and they bring us joy every time we look down at them.

Years ago, while scuba diving, I found an old munitions brass ring. It was unevenly worn from years in the ocean, with strange rises and divots all over. This small brass ring holds a lot of sentimental value for me, so I asked Ilah if she could make a larger replica to be my wedding band. The resulting ring is beautiful: a white-gold ring perhaps 20% larger than the original – but perfect in its markings.
