From the day I got my custom engagement ring to my surprise necklace I got for my wedding day 6/14/19. My fiancé has loved working with Ilah and Jess to create custom jewelry for me. I love all of their work with some pieces being one of a kind. They have become our families jewelry store we will never shop anywhere else.

Ilah (the owner) is the outmost professional I have met in the ring industry. And I did a lot of shopping around before deciding on working with Precious Metals. She attentively listened to all my requests, made suggestions were needed, incorporated all of the original ideas and made the engagement ring a masterpiece of art and beauty! Everyone comments on my fiancées ring. So now we're going back to get the bands and looking forward to the process and the results!

Ilah was incredibly helpful when designing my wife's engagement ring. She took lots of time going through subtle edits to the design, and was very responsive with questions about materials, design, and gems. She also helped design us a custom wedding band to pair with my wife's engagement ring, which we loved. We strongly recommenced Precious Metals for custom jewelry!

I had an engagement ring made by Precious Metals Sudbury from my grandmother's diamond rings. Ilah was able to make a custom ring for us reusing the main stone and some of the baguettes. The result far exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful way to honor my grandmother's memory.

I took this project to a number jewelers in order to compare price and 'feel out' how interested they were in working on a project like this. Precious Metals Sudbury was by far the most receptive to making a custom ring. (The ideas started basically when we walked into the shop and showed her what we had). Taking our ideas and making it into a practical engagement ring design was an enjoyable process.

The ring was done quickly (less than a month) and is of high quality. The stones are very well set. Overall I am extremely pleased with Precious Metals Sudbury and would happily work with them again on future projects.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this entire experience. Start to finish.
I never knew it was possible to get such a high quality ring, hand-crafted just for me, that possessed either mined gems or lab-grown (EARTH FRIENDLY) gems - and get it from a place that treats you like family. They listened to my romantic story, spent hours working with me about tedious little details, had the answer for every question I bombarded them with, emailed me pictures and updates as they made my ring, and even held jewels for me in case I wanted to use the gems for another piece. I can't believe this unique work of ART that I get to propose to my girlfriend with. She will stand out with something beautiful on her finger that no one else in the whole world has. I could not be more grateful.

Also, because I started with a 3/4 carrot diamond from a pair of my mother's earnings (valued at ~$2,500) the ring cost me ~$2,200 overall. This included shipping, service to make the ring, cost of the jewels, and consultations (free). Overall, that ring is worth $5000-$6000.

Ilah did an amazing job. We came in with a very specific 2D design, that we wanted translated into a set of matching wedding bands. Her suggestions for materials and adjustments to the design were great. She made a 3D computer model of the rings right in front of us and continued to send us updated versions as we revised the design. The rings came out exactly as we had imagined. Her execution of the details was perfect. We've received many compliments on our rings, and they bring us joy every time we look down at them.

I would highly recommend Precious Metals to anyone looking to buy jewelry in general, but certainly to anyone going through the wedding gauntlet! I came across Precious Metals in my long hunt for the perfect engagement ring. All of my prep and research prior to meeting with Precious Metals made me think I had hundreds of options. Ilah showed me that I had hundreds of thousands of options: between bands, settings, and stones. But more importantly, Ilah guided me through all the options (like a pro) to the perfect ring. It is a great feeling to be guided through this world with an insider, rather than being told to buy something out of a case. I felt like I had a personal escort through the vast engagement ring market who was working with me to build something perfect for me. The ring was stunning, and I asked them to take on another unique custom job for my wedding band...

Years ago, while scuba diving, I found an old munitions brass ring. It was unevenly worn from years in the ocean, with strange rises and divots all over. This small brass ring holds a lot of sentimental value for me, so I asked Ilah if she could make a larger replica to be my wedding band. The resulting ring is beautiful: a white-gold ring perhaps 20% larger than the original – but perfect in its markings. I would highly recommend talking to the people at Precious Metals for all custom jewelry jobs!

We stumbled upon Precious Metals driving around one day and I am sure glad I did! I was looking for a unique wedding band to go along with my art deco engagement ring and was having a very difficult time. I saw a few rings there that really liked and asked if a few minor adjustments could be made. She then spend about 45 minutes with us showing us on CAD software how she could make the ring completely custom (based on shape, stone, and setting).

Because my wedding ring search had taken so long it was very close to my wedding date and I was extremely impressed how quickly she was able to complete my ring and how much care she put into it! It came out better than I could have expected and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for unique jewelry!

Ilah is a great designer and struck a really good balance between being helpful and offering suggestions but allowing it to be uniquely mine too. I chose her originally because she was local but had a really good feeling about her after the first meeting. I would definitely recommend her, especially if you are building a unique piece from the 'ground up'.

We decided that we wanted a custom wedding ring done for our wedding in September. During our jeweler research, we did not want to go to some massive jewelry store to have the ring designed. We stumbled upon Precious Metals Sudbury online and decided to take a ride to the store. It is a very intimate store, so, if your thoughts are you want a big production store environment, this is not the place for you.

We met with Ilah and loved her thoughts on the diamonds/metals options. She provided us with quotes and explained to us her process. Everything was smooth, even though we had a design change towards the beginning of the process, she was easy to accommodate. She provided us with photos of the design in advance and the photos were very realistic! The wedding ring came out beautiful and so unique, I love it. We will definitely work with Ilah in the future.

Working with Precious Metals was an excellent experience. I purchased my fiance's engagement ring here and we couldn't be more satisfied. They were very helpful in selecting the right ring for us and the custom setting they did was flawless.

I'm so glad we found Ilah. I had shopped around at several jewelry stores and had a really tough time trying anything on because my ring size is 3.5 and everything was huge on me. We stopped in to check out Ilah's store and immediately clicked. Maybe it was her adorable dachshund trotting around (she has 2 now!) or more likely it was the fact that she explained simply and convincingly why I needed a custom ring. Basically to size down any of the other rings, I would lose features or risk damaging the ring. I was afraid a custom ring would cost far too much but actually my platinum, custom, hand engraved band came out about the same as one off the shelf for price but I got to decide every single detail. Ilah even had a fancy break in the engraving put in on the palm side when I expressed concern over needing to size up someday when we have kids. It came out so beautiful with these fancy little tails at the end of the engraving that it's my favorite part of the band. She also guided me through choosing my diamond on Blue Nile so I could get the absolute best in our budget. I thought this was awesome because she makes $0 when I shop blue Nile. I believe she actually does lab diamonds now too so you have that choice. I was so nervous being someone who is not very creative with limited artistic vision but Ilah helped me design the PERFECT ring. It's been 11 months since my fiance proposed and I still can't stop looking at it! As someone who wears practically no jewelry, that's quite the accomplishment! I can't wait to start work on our wedding bands with her this summer!

My fiance proposed without a ring because he knew I dreamed of designing it. Ilah made the entire process a dream come true, and we will definitely work with her again for our wedding bands!

Ilah was very patient and used her great communication skills to understand exactly what we envisioned, which was great as I had never designed a piece of jewlery before. Her technical knowledge and responsiveness helped us go from drawings and 3D models to casting our perfect ring!

Ilah also brought to our attention the existence of lab grown diamonds when we expressed ethical concerns about the main stream diamond industry. She was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with.

Her prices were competitive, and her dedication and honesty made us feel in good hands all along. Our trust was well placed: the ring is more gorgeous than I ever dreamed of! I recommend Precious Metals wholeheartedly! Thank you so much Ilah!

We went to Ilah to have my fiancee's engagement ring made. We wanted a custom designed ring and had gone to another jeweler first, but found him to be somewhat pushy and rather condescending. Ilah was wonderful to work with. She was patient, helpful and informative. At one point I was worried that the family diamond we used was not going to work and I was ready to buy a new one. Ilah actually helped me to decide to stay with the family diamond (thus losing the sale of a diamond).

In the end, the ring came out beautifully. The design work that Ilah did was phenomenal. We will certainly be going back to Ilah for our wedding rings.

My husband found Ilah to custom design the wedding bands to compliment the engagement ring he had given me. Ilah was easily accessible throughout e design process and responsive to our emails. We loved the design she created and she was extremely accommodating in making the minor variation we wanted to see prior to making our final decision. She created the bands, as well as two necklaces we had designed as wedding gifts for family members, well within the timeframe she had estimated for completion. I absolutely love the way the bands look with my engagement ring and I am constantly receiving compliments from friends and family! Ilah worked with us to design a very beautiful pendant for my mom's 70th birthday. There were several "cooks" on our side with different requirements and Ilah did a great job coming up with a piece that pleased everyone. Ilah has provided me with my two favorite rings. One is a re-set of my grandmother's diamond -- although I chose the design from a catalogue rather than it being custom, Ilah helped make the piece unique by doing a beautiful matte finish to the gold. I get more compliments on it than anything else I own! And then she worked with my husband to design (as a Mother's Day surprise) an amazing stacking 3-ring set that has my children's' birthstones and mine/my husband's (same stone). This was completely her design and it is simply amazing. Ilah is always such a pleasure to work with and has extreme attention to detail. She remembered that my diamond ring had a matte gold finish, so she made sure the stacking rings had the same finish to match. I would HIGHLY recommend using her for a special piece of jewelry, especially for an engagement ring. Why have the same things as everyone else? Go to Ilah and get something uniquely yours.

Ilah takes such time and care with every piece of jewlery she makes for her customer. I have had 3 rings created by her and each piece gets many compliments from friends and strangers alike. She works very efficiently and makes sure that you like and approve each step before proceeding. And if any problems arise, she takes care of it immediately. I feel very secure having her as my jeweler, and I live in Huntington Beach, CA! I have had several people from here interested in her work. I had four ruby pendants made at Precious Metals; one was for me and the three others were for my bridesmaids. Ilah helped me pick out the perfect setting for the rubies and was happy to spend time with me working to get the pendants so they looked perfect and were also at the price point that I was interested in. The pendants came out beautifully and I wear mine every day.

Because we were so happy with the pendants, we went back again and got my husband's wedding band there, too. His wedding band is perfect. Ilah was so kind and talked us through all of the different types of metals that were available to us so we could select the ring that made the most sense for my husband. In addition, we purchased a beautiful necklace for my husbands mother.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the jewelry that we purchased at Precious Metals. I will certainly be a frequent customer.

We worked with Ilah to get both of our wedding bands and she was patient and very accommodating. Ilah did sketches and then to size computer images of the engagement band and wedding band that you can cut out on paper and lay on your finger to see the true size and shape, it was amazing! Ilah takes great care in her work and will be completely honest about all metals and diamond quality. I even had a necklace made by her, we really love her work. I would definitely recommend working with Ilah and we will be going back again I am sure in the future for more jewelry!

Ilah at Precious Metals in Sudbury made a custom wedding band for me, my husband's wedding band and took care of all of our engraving and even re-sizing my engagement ring which was bought elsewhere. We looked at many places and Ilah was the first who understood what we wanted (I have a uniquely shaped engagement ring which was somewhat difficult to work around) and was able to execute it flawlessly. Ilah's work is beautiful and meticulous. We will continue going to Precious Metals in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for engagement, wedding or any other type of jewelry.
