Portico - Awbury Arboretum

We had the most beautiful September wedding at Portico (Awbury Arboretum) — literally nothing went wrong. We had amazing weather, beautiful surroundings, and everyone had a wonderful time.

From start to finish the team at Peachtree was so accommodating and lovely. Fallyn helped us tour the venue on a cold December day and really helped us imagine it working for us. Stephanie helped us get the logistics figured out. The team at the tasting was so kind and accommodating.

We want to specifically shout out how good they were at accounting for dietary restrictions and allergies with the catering. There wasn’t just one sad ‘veggie’ platter option for the vegans and non-dairy friends — everyone had something good to eat.

On our wedding day, Stephanie helped make sure that everything went right, coordinating with her team and all of our vendors. We also have to give a special shout-out to Ashley, our friendly attendant who was always making sure that our bridesmaids had coffee to drink and we had food to eat, and Jess, our bartender who all of our guests fell in love with.

Peachtree’s team is so professional, capable, and efficient, but also at every point they also made us feel special and made the day feel like ours. We were able to spend the whole day focusing on each other and our guests, knowing we were in their good hands.

We toured Portico on a cold February afternoon for a September wedding and immediately fell in love with the space, even without it being fully in bloom! Fallyn helped us to see our vision at Portico and Steph (our coordinator) and the entire Peachtree team made it come to life. The venue itself is stunning- lush gardens, space for guests to move around, dinner under the stars, a dance floor that feels like your own house party.

But, by far our favorite part of Portico was our experience with the Peachtree team. Fallyn was incredibly accommodating when we decided to increase our guest count. Steph was attentive to our needs, walked us through every option (sometimes several times), and made our day-of go off without a hitch. Even during their busiest season, Steph was responsive to emails and always had answers for us so we could continue our planning. 10000/10 recommend Portico and Peachtree for your garden fairytale wedding!!!

Portico Awbury Arboretum was the perfect venue for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous but also incredibly well run. Lindsey was our coordinator and could not have been easier to work with. The planning process was incredibly seamless and it made for a perfect day. From start to finish everything ran smoothly and exactly as we were told it would go. The food was amazing as was the entire day of staff. We cannot thank everyone at Portico Awbury Arboretum enough for such a special day!!

Our experience with Peachtree and Portico was amazing for our October wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how the food was so delicious and high quality! Our ceremony was intimate and surrounded by the beauty of Portico's natural garden and trees, highlighting the coziness of fall. The warmth, service and communication from our wedding coordinator Grace leading up to the event and also the day-of staff was hugely appreciated. We felt taken care of every step of the way! We highly recommend Portico and Peachtree for any couple looking for a special one-of-a-kind wedding.

We had a sensational experience at the Awbury Arboretum! The location is just beautiful, for us it was a perfect mixture of outdoors but also protected from the elements. It was a rainy day and that threw off our plan a tad, but it was still an amazing day. The food from Peachtree was delightful, the staff was friendly and attentive, and each part of the venue (house, tent, portico) was perfect.

Our coordinator Grace was awesome, she was so organized and communicative and helped make our day so special and easy. We especially loved the attention to detail in ensuring that we (bride and groom) had food and drinks at every point of the day. They catered to our wants and needs for our special day including but not limited to special requests!

Can’t recommend Awbury enough, it was exactly what we wanted!

Our wedding at Portico was hands down the best experience I could’ve hoped for. As someone who has been planning their wedding since they were a little girl, I was worried going into the process that my high expectations wouldn’t be met. My expectations were exceeded by Portico! It was the perfect day. Our coordinator Grace felt like a true friend through the process. She was incredibly kind, professional, and went above and beyond in every way possible. The food was amazing, the drinks were strong, and the venue was absolutely stunning. Every staff member of the night was kind and caring. I cannot recommend them enough! It was the perfect day of my dreams.

We had our wedding at Portico in May 2025 and the only word I can use to describe it was amazing. The entire Portico/Peachtree team went above and beyond not only on our wedding day but throughout the entire planning process. We worked with Stephanie as our event coordinator and she helped to make our vision come to life so seamlessly. From napkin colors to food recommendations - any time I had any question big or small she was there to help and in a very timely manner. I also need to shout out our dignitary, Theresa because the day of our wedding she was there to get us every little thing we needed and was one step ahead of us all day. The venue speaks for itself, all of our guests were raving about how beautiful & unique it was and how amazing all the food was. The service was also next level - everyone got their meals in a timely manner and everything was served hot. Lastly, if you are thinking about getting the goats, get them!! They were a crowd favorite and such a memorable thing to have at the wedding.

We were married at Portico this Fall and could not have asked for a better venue! The venue itself is beautiful, but the staff is really the standout of this venue. We worked with Fallyn for booking and Micah for planning -both were dreams to work with. Micah helped bring our wedding vision to life and was a calm, organized presence the entire wedding day.
Other pros: the food was phenomenal. Truly the best wedding food I’ve ever had. AND THE GOATS! 10/10 recommend hiring the goats.

I’m finally writing this review, even though it’s taken me a little while to find the words to describe what was, hands down, the best day of my life. Our wedding at Portico at Awbury Arboretum was beyond anything I could have ever imagined, and the team there made every part of our day absolutely perfect. From the moment we toured the venue with Fallyn, we felt comfortable and at home. As a BIPOC queer couple, it was so important for us to find a venue that was inclusive and welcoming—and Fallyn truly showed us that. She was incredibly kind, respectful, and so thoughtful in showing us couples who looked like us, including other BIPOC and queer couples. Fallyn went above and beyond to answer all our questions, and her warmth and professionalism set the tone. Then, there was Grace, our wedding coordinator (who I hope everyone has the opportunity to work with because she is a STAR.) We first met Grace during the tasting, and from that point onward, she answered every single question I shot her way with so much patience (like asking her to send one million photos of different colored linens, and her doing it with so much...grace lol.) Grace was an incredible support and was consistently responsive as we made decisions about decor and rentals, food and beverages, and day-of set up and break down. On the wedding day, my partner and I felt so special and taken care of by the Peachtree team. During photos, they made sure that our wedding party and my partner and I were hydrated, and when it came time to party, they never let us go without a drink in hand. The food was absolutely delicious, and so plentiful - our guests raved about the shrimp and grit bites, the chicken and waffles, the banana pudding, mini milkshakes, etc and the sheer amount of food and desserts that kept coming out. Our guests also raved about the servers and bartending staff, saying how kind, attentive and FUN every server was. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, with the market lighting adding such a warm glow, and the dance area, tucked in the house and around the veranda, giving intimate house-party vibes. Our wedding goals were joy and fun for both us and our guests, and this team and the venue absolutely delivered. We had a few kids in our wedding party, and they kept appearing with new little toys that they shared were given to them by the team. The sheer level of attention and professionalism you get from this team highlights how frequently they are coordinating weddings, and similarly how amazing it is that they leave you feeling like your special day was different and unique. I can honestly say that I wish I could marry my wife all over again, just to work with Peachtree again and hold our wedding here. The day was beyond our wildest dreams. We can't recommend it enough!

We could not be happier with how are wedding turned out at Awbury Arboretum! The venue is beautiful, the food was great, and the staff at Portico were so friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Grace, who made an overwhelming wedding planning experience so much easier. She was so organized and responsive and really just made everything less stressful.
