I've been licensed Makeup Artist in Pittsburgh for 25+ years. I love what I do! I've done hundreds of weddings over the years and consider bridal makeup to be my specialty. I strive to make each bride feel her absolute prettiest but also feel like herself. OMG - she was SO sweet and able to provide such a customized experience for everyone.
Getting married during COVID was NOT easy! We had issues with the TWO other makeup artists that we tried to hire for the day. Needless to say - I reached out to Julie with 1 month to SPARE. She dropped everything and made it work! We had 13 people to try to accommodate for make-up and everyone looked FLAWLESS!
While I was getting ready, Julie gave me little pep talks and positive vibes! Let me tell you guys - I REALLY needed this. She helped me to relax and focus on how amazing the day would be and she transformed my make-up visions into a reality.
Julie made me feel super comfortable and was so flexible in her work. She asked for feedback along the way so if i ever didn't love something, she could correct it. BUT i can honestly say that I've never felt more beautiful than i did on my Wedding day!!
10/10 would recommend!! LOVED WORKING WITH HER!!

Julie Marckisotto at Pittsburgh MakeUp is the only make up artist that I recommend to my brides! She is the BEST at what she does and her experience and professionalism are unmatched. We love to walk into the getting ready space on the morning of a wedding and see Julie there with the ladies because we know our bride and her maids are going to look just as flawless at the end of the reception as they will when they leave the make up chair. We trust Julie so much, my sister and I hired her for our own weddings!
