Based in Seattle (& I love to travel!), I offer wedding and engagement photography for full day weddings, short or long elopements and everything in between.

After shooting over 150 weddings, I've perfected my craft of capturing all those moments that even you miss (dad drying a quick tear) as well as framing your wedding to look like the event of the year (which it is! for you!). It's amazing having all your favorite people under one roof and I'm here to make sure you get a photo of ALL OF IT, so you don't have to ask "did you get that?".
I believe every couple should get the beautiful wedding photos they dream of, regardless of budget, I do try to work with budgets when I can. So reach out and I'll return your email within the hour.

Professional, knowledgeable, and gorgeous photos!!
We got married August 2 of this year and we are so happy Marviel was our photographer. You will seriously not be disappointed. We haven’t seen all the photos yet but what we’ve seen so far is jaw dropping!!! She knows what she’s doing that’s for sure. She’s done our engagement photos too so we knew the photos would be wonderful. She’s very detailed and captured every moment we wanted. She knew angles and directed us which I absolutely loved. We highly recommend her and we will forever use her for future photo shoots or family photos. Thank you for capturing all the special moments.

Lovely Engagement Photo Session
It was a great experience getting our engagement shots with Marivel! She took time to understand what we wanted, like having snow and trees in the background, etc. During the session, she guided us on how to interact with each other, in a way which felt very fun and natural. She had a good balance on when to let us be ourselves, and when to make slight adjustments. It was very fun prancing around in the snow together, would definitely recommend! I also like that the final shots have different light variations for us to choose from. They look very professional.

We had a great experience with Marivel! She was always very prompt in responding to any questions we had and made us feel at ease. We actually went with her Associates Program to stay in budget and it worked out great. Her associates were really good and easy to work with. I highly recommend this option if you have a specific budget. We got both our engagement (Marivel took the engagement photos) and wedding pictures through Marivel's Associates Program and honestly the pictures couldn't have been better. Marivel was actually able to get a few shots as well and took us to the perfect location for wedding portraits. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend her services!

I am absolutely in love with our photos Marivel took! She flew all the way to Lincoln, Nebraska for us, and was wonderful! She had awesome ideas for poses and locations to shoot at, and worked in the ideas for pictures that I wanted. Better than I could have imagined.

If you are looking for traditional wedding photos of you and your loved one and family, go to another photographer. If you want something truly unique that will blow you and everyone you show them to away, go with Marivel! I couldn't have imagined a better collection of pictures from our special day and am so thankful we chose Marivel from Wedding Wire based on reviews. The reviews are true and the results are stunning. All of my family and friends say they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen . Not only was the end result fab, but she was super responsive and accommodating every step of the way. THANK YOU MARIVEL!

Marivel is amazing! She picked a great location for the winter engagement shoot and helped us with posing, yet truly let us show our personalities and captured our love for each other. Before the session I was hoping to have Pinterest worthy photos and she delivered! Marivel is so talented and I will use her for future shoots. I was concerned about styling for the shoot but she helped me every step of the way (and didn’t get annoyed when I sent a million outfit pictures). She responded in a timely manner to every message I sent and even sent a preview photo the next day. I even received all my photos from the shoot back in 9 days— 5 days before she said she would have them for me! Would recommend to anyone. You can tell she loves what she does, and she produces great work because of it! If photos are important to you, I highly recommend Picture Marvelous!
