I have to say Jon is more than 5 star!

He helped us plan out our timeline better than any vendor or wedding planner and really helped us with the details.

When I wanted some additional color correction on the editing of the photos in post… he did it no questions asked!

He was friendly, organized, kind and really cared about the quality of service and the end product.

This guy will make your day flow easy and get the best photos you could imagine and by the way his pricing is better than most of what you see out there for a better over all service.

He is probably charging less than he should so get in before re realizes this and charges more!

Jon went above and beyond! His communication and attention to details/timeline was the best of all of the vendors we hired for our wedding! He made sure to emphasize the fact that it was our day and gave timeline recommendations to keep things stress free. Easy to communicate with, ask questions, work with day of. And of course, the photos are STUNNING. Delivered in a timely manner with great communication on when teasers/final album would be available. 10/10 recommend!

After knowing Jon Kaplan as a local photographer in Snohomish, WA, we were pumped he was available to shoot our May the 4th wedding! An intimate affair on nearby Whidbey Island, our wedding still involved a bit of driving and a ferry ride. Jon was not only willing to travel, but prompt and prepared for anything at the remote location.

From the start, Jon communicated clearly and did an excellent job of determining our expectations. His extensive experience and confident yet laid back demeanor put us right at ease. With a guest list of only 50 people, it was important that we felt this level of comfort with any professional we included on our special day.

Jon was great to work with! Primed with our pre-discussed plan, he worked quickly and unobtrusively, needing little direction from the busy bride or groom. He directed us when needed, but was able to capture so many wonderful moments as the day unfolded naturally.

After keeping us in the loop of his progress during the editing process, we were more than thrilled to receive our final edits! The weather may have been a bit dreary for the springtime event, but the pictures were anything but. Jon’s editing style was nothing short of warm and inviting. Seeing all of our efforts to create a memorable experience for our loved ones distilled into his beautiful, Pintrest-worthy photos was emotional in the best way possible. Tears were shed all over again.

The experience from start to finish Jon was highly professional and easy going. The first contact was a phone call where we over what my fiancé and I were wanting for the wedding. We didn’t really have a clear idea of what we were looking, but we knew we wanted quality photos to capture our love, for years to come. Like a true professional Jon threw out ideas and recommendations for us to make the most of our time together. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer! We immediately liked Jon when he answered our phone call right away and could answer all of our questions in detail. We cannot say enough good things about Jon- from start to finish- engagement photos, communication, assisting with the day of photography plan, editing our photos, and answering any questions we had no matter when we asked. Jon was the photographer at my best friends wedding a few years ago and that's when I decided I wanted him as my wedding photographer. He did an amazing job, like a ninja capturing candid moments of all the guests, and great photos of the wedding. He was flexible, even when he showed up on time and I was behind still having my hair done. I got such beautiful pictures of my special day. Highly recommended.

We feel so fortunate to have found Jon as our wedding photographer! He captured our engagement and wedding photos like a true pro, it was so nice to be able to trust his judgement and experience during a high stress time like planning/having a wedding. Jon Kaplan came to our rescue! My (now) wife and I had no idea what we were doing. We had some overall goals for our wedding and some design ideas, but Jon came to save us. After our first Zoom call (while I was on the road working) I felt much more prepared concerning the order of events and activities that would take place on our special day. Jon layed out a few options in detailed timeline form as to what might work best for us. Even up until the wedding day, he made sure to communicate with us to ensure we were all on the same page. It is important to me that someone can be flexible, self reliant, and punctual. Jon checked all the boxes. We even received our pictures right on time per our agreement. I would recommend Jon Kaplan for your ceremony or any other special event you want remembered forever. All of the pictures we received delighted our family.

We just adore Jon! I’m not the biggest fan of getting my photo taken, it can feel awkward and forced. Jon did such an amazing job of shooting beautiful photos while making sure we felt completely comfortable and at ease. He gave us space to be ourselves and captured some keepsake candids and gently guided us for some truly professional portraits of family. We appreciate his friendship, professionalism and these forever memories.
