"James, As you are aware, for my first time planning a school prom had me in a nervous wreck. Because our previous disc jockey had made prior arrangements, I was left without music for our event. Needless to say, I was in distress because everyone knows that the music is the most important aspect of senior prom. Frantically, I made phone calls, sent emails, and searched the Internet in search of the perfect person that would make the night unforgettable.
After receiving my desperate email recruiting our event, you immediately called me to alleviate my fears and tell me your qualifications. I really liked that within a couple of hours of discussing the date and venue, you had two different reputable references call me to let me know how well you had worked their event in the recent past. My interest was really pique then.
Next, we discussed price. Although your price was a little more than what we had budgeted for, it was money well- spent. The music selection you chose was all the hits students wanted to hear. Not only did you come well-prepared with lighting and music, I liked that you were able to download their requests and even play their Ipods with clean versions of the songs they'd request. The students were on the floor the entire night dancing to all different genres of music. The week after prom, many students took time to come and tell me how much fun they had and that they loved "DJ James". They have even made me promise to book you for next year!
All in all, our prom was a great success in a large part to you. I am glad to know that next year I won't have to worry about the music; you'll take good care of us.
