Sarah is an absolutely incredible photographer and person. We worked with Sarah for both our engagement shoot and wedding and are in awe of the photos we received- they are genuine, romantic, and absolutely beautiful. Moreover, Sarah is so creative, diligent, and kind and was a pleasure to spend so much time with on our special day. So many of our guests commented the same, and she was especially great with our older relatives, wedding party, and children. Sarah's services were more expensive than we had originally planned for; however, the experience and photos that we will cherish forever were 100% worth it.

Sarah Beth is the most amazing photographer! We were introduced by Kim Newton, our wedding planner, and immediately knew we made a wonderful choice. Sarah Beth spent an in depth phone call getting to know my husband & I off the bat in advance of our wedding. Her package included an engagement shoot which we absolutely loved! She drove over an hour away to photograph us at the spot we got engaged at months prior. On the wedding day, Sarah Beth was incredible & found a way to get all the shots we wanted! She is so accommodating, flexible, and provides such a high quality of service. Our families have been raving over her photos & how friendly of a person she is. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sarah Beth over the last year & honestly consider her a friend now! She is so kind & makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera. We cannot recommend her enough for your wedding!

I cannot recommend Sarah Tapanes of Photos by Sarah Beth more highly. Her photos - first of our engagement and then the wedding itself - were absolutely stunning and a perfect reflection of how we wanted to remember both occasions. She's also one of the hardest-working photographers out there, and won't quit until she feels she gets the perfect shot (even when it's 90 degrees out!). Best of all, Sarah is a lovely human being who actually takes the time to get to know her clients as people. You get the sense that she truly cares about you and the special occasions in your life almost as much as you do. We couldn't have been more thrilled with Sarah's work and can't wait to someday work with her again.

I don't have enough positive adjectives to describe working with Sarah. My husband and I don't love having our photos taken, but Sarah made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot! We felt so relaxed and comfortable with Sarah and it shows in the pictures! She picked the most perfect spots in Old Town and we've gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos. Cut to the weeks leading up to the wedding and she was on top of timelines, family photo lists and shot lists! On the wedding day, I couldn't imagine having anyone else there capturing our day! Sarah was such a happy and fun presence at our wedding and she captured the MOST gorgeous photos of the day. I can't stop staring at them, they're perfect! 100/10 would recommend Sarah if you want someone to capture your day and make you feel your best self while doing it!

My brother and sister in law used Sarah for their wedding 8 years ago. Since then they have used her for maternity, new born, family shoots etc. I knew as soon as I was engaged that I wanted her to be our photographer and was over the moon when she was available for our date. However, once we went to book Im a little embarrassed to say, but I hesitated. The price was much more expensive that I had planned to spend and I saw other photographers we could hire that were priced less and I couldn’t decide. After a few days we pulled the trigger and booked her. Since that moment there have been no regrets (only slight shame that I ever considered NOT booking her because there is just no comparison). Our engagement photos are photos I’ll cherish forever and we just got our sneak peek of the wedding photos and I almost cried. I know so many friends who are underwhelmed when they get their photos and that is not a concern we have at all. She doesn’t just take great pictures, she has a way about her that pulls genuine smiles out of the people she’s photographs. She has such a great eye for the candies and such a great eye for making you feel less awkward in front of the camera. I always feel stiff or posed - that is not a problem here. In addition to Sarah — the people she brings with her (second shooter/assistant/etc) all embody her energy, so when you book her you literally have nothing to worry about. I have no idea how many weddings she’s done at this point, but she made me feel like mine was the only one that mattered and went above and beyond to make sure I had any photo I dreamed of. “Going through the motions” doesn’t seem to exist for her and I am so grateful.

Sarah performed our engagement shoot about 3 years ago. Originally, I was never interested in having an engagement shoot but I am so glad we did because it is such a highlight of our engagement period. Sarah came to our apartment early at 6:00 am on a Sunday and then we walked over to Central Park for some epic photos. She was super responsive, friendly and ultimately went above and beyond throughout the full experience. She also has a great sense of humor which made our time together very enjoyable and entertaining. She is a very talented photographer, I was extremely satisfied by the quality the final product. Bonus: she offered an RTR outfit as part of the shoot which made for even more stylish photos. These stunning images now decorate our hope and every time I go to Central Park I think about that beautiful day. I can't say enough good things about her work and her personality. Love Sarah!

I recently got married September 1st and worked with Sarah for our engagement photos and wedding day! I think Sarah is great to work with and I highly recommend her to any bride! When meeting Sarah she skype called us which I thought was great I really felt like the photographer was very important for me on our wedding day and we all immediately clicked and was very excited to work with her! Both our engagement photos and wedding photos are beautiful, she is open and asked for all our ideas and has great ideas for us and the pictures have all turned out amazing. I had a huge bridal party and divorced parents, so we had a lot of combinations of photos and groups and she got everything done seamlessly. We had timelines and even had to tweak timelines for added things and she got everything done we wanted, and it all turned out perfect. I hope we get to work with her again for family pictures

There are not enough words to describe just how wonderful Sarah truly is. At the beginning of this whole process I had no idea what I was doing. I searched, and probably contacted, about 20 different photographers and went through every initial interview process. They were all wonderful but Sarah stood out. Speaking to her is like speaking to a friend that you've known for years who just so happens to be an expert in the wedding photography business. Throughout the whole process Sarah was always quick to respond and quick to quell any type of nervousness. She offered help whenever I needed it. She is well organized and on top of all of your details. She is nice, sweet, funny but she also means business. Girl can take some photos. She will pose you (get your good angle) and tell you what to do. She handles large groups well. We had a photo we wanted with over 50 people in it. She took the photo like it was a breeze. We had individuals at the wedding who were a little tough to handle but Sarah handled them like the pro that she is. I could go on for hours about how awesome she is. I have recommended her to anyone and everyone I know that is getting married. We had guests at our wedding telling us how awesome she is. Choose Sarah and I promise you won't be disappointed. I mean just look at her photos!!

I don't even know where to start! From the very moment that I started talking to Sarah about our small wedding ceremony, I knew I had to book her. She spent so much time on the phone with me (we are not local to the area), going over all of her photo packages, different photo options, vendor suggestions (cake, flowers, dress - you name it!) and getting to know our story so that she could accurately capture our day. Her photos are nothing short of GORGEOUS. We just received our sneak peak album (the SAME weekend as our wedding) and my family and friends can't stop gushing about how amazing the photos are. Throughout our day, Sarah was there every step of the way offering to help in any way she could. I kept having issues with my shoes getting stuck in my dress, and more than once Sarah offered her shoes to me and told me she would walk barefoot. This is the type of person Sarah is. I feel so incredibly lucky that she was my photographer for this special day and I would absolutely recommend her to EVERYONE!

Sarah is legitimately the best wedding photographer out there. She is extremely organized, thoughtful, and did a wonderful job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Her work is gorgeous and I am so happy we hired her to capture all the special moments of the day.
