Lumyr Derisier is a Boston native who has been shooting events and portraits for over ten years. With a love of dance, a passion for people and obsession for detail, Lumyr finds joy in the in the product and process of capturing images.

Lumyr presents a "calm under pressure" attitude which stems directly from his years working as an event photographer. This event experience also allowed Lumyr to developed a keen understanding low-lit, and multi-lit environments. As a dancer, Lumyr draws on his knowledge of the body to create dynamic compositions for his portraits and to provide a jovial interactive atmosphere to the shooting process.

With Lumyr, his subjects are part of the process as well as the product.
