Experience
Valerie (owner/photographer) has been a part of the wedding industry for over 10 years. She also owns Events by Lovely Lemons that offers design, planning and rental options. Prior to this she worked as a professional editor, and film-maker. Her experience sets her apart giving her the ability to be both a genuine and fast paced wedding photographer.

Friendly and personal experience

Val did our wedding photos. My husband and I had a quiet intimate service and neither of us are big on having pictures taken of us. Val took so many beautiful pictures and a lot of candid moments too that she had a great eye to capture because we had explained how we aren’t always comfortable being photographed a lot. My husband and I never felt like we were forcing smiles or exhausted from taking pictures. She made it engaging and fun and as a result we have such beautiful memories of our special day. She was friendly and professional all while making us feel like she was part of the family there attending our event with a camera. Would absolutely recommend her to be trusted with your big day! You will end up with some gorgeous pictures to look at and love even years later!

Wedding at Lands End

Val’s work is BREATHTAKING! My wedding and engagement pictures came out absolutely perfect. So many guests at my wedding asked for her information after they saw our wedding pictures. Val is so laid back, gets back to your texts and calls right away and is super easy to talk to. She had great ideas for where to shoot our engagement pics and day of wedding pictures as well. I’d highly recommend her!

A Picture Says a Thousand Words

It's so true when people tell you that your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. I'm so grateful to have worked with Valerie from Valerie Ann Photography on my wedding day because she captured every single moment that seemed to have flown right by. Those photos have allowed me to relive that day over and over. Valerie has an eye for capturing detail, picks the best angles, and even knows how to time her photos to capture that perfect background sunset. She goes above and beyond to get that "perfect shot." Valerie was so easy to work with - she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable on our big day. She is a true artist and a master at her craft!

Simply the best

Valerie, and her assistant Cassandra, were simply terrific. Valerie took us for an engagement shoot, at which she produced some of the most awesome pictures of us. At the wedding they both were easy going, go with the flow, and fast paced enough to not keep is from our party. I recommend her highly and do not think you will be able to find anyone better.
