I was Married On July 6th in a very small wedding ceremony. As a gift, my maid of honor hired Melissa from MissyLou Photography to take pictures. It was not my intention to have a photographer, but I am so glad we did. The pictures Melissa took were wonderful. Truly amazing how she was able to capture images that seemed natural and not posed. For the first time in my life, I am thrilled with a picture I was in. Melissa knew what settings and backgrounds would make for an exceptional photo op. July 6th was very hot, and Melissa was extremely patient and professional. MissyLou made memories for me that I will have for a lifetime. I would recommend MissyLou Photography to anyone who asks!!! I booked Melissa after finding her on Craig's List. I was a little apprehensive since I found her in that manner (no one had recommended her to me etc). But after our back and forth e-mails and talking with her over the phone I came to realize what a nice person she was and felt more comfortable with my choice. I had booked her for a very small wedding as a gift to the bride and groom. Melissa treated our small party with all the respect and care and professionalism as if we were a big elaborate affair. She not only took pictures but was even helpful in organizing the bride and pitched in during the small ceremony. Lets face it though, if her pictures are horrible all the niceness means nothing. WELL, let me tell you the pictures were absolutely beautiful. She captured the bride and groom in the perfect settings, with amazing backgrounds and somehow made posed photos look candid and natural. The bride and groom couldn't have been more thrilled with the results and I was happy that I was able to provide them with such a beautiful "Gift". I would without a doubt recommend her to my friends and family and use Melissa again for future celebrations.

She was very flexible to cooperate with our timing and change of schedule. It was for a proposal, and guys come prepared with poses your bride will want. She gave a few options but we would have benefited from having more.
