The best decision my husband and I made for our wedding was going with Brea. We had looked a few photographers but weren’t finding one whose photos we absolutely loved. Brea was the photographer at my BIL’s sister’s wedding, and she came highly recommended to us. From the first call we immediately clicked. From our engagement shoot, to planning timelines, to the day of the wedding, we were continually impressed. Brea is responsive, timely, fun, kind, and immensely talented. We loved having her blog to easily share with friends and family within just a few short days of the wedding. We cannot recommend Brea enough. Go with her!!!

Brea is PHENOMENAL!!!!!! She goes above and beyond to get to the know the couple and really capture who they are! From the moment we met Brea, she was kind, warm, inviting, and passionate-her work truly speaks for itself! She blew us away in every single way! When we received our sneak peak and wedding photos, my jaw hit the floor with how INCREDIBLE the pictures were-she captured our special day in ways I didn't know was possible! Our wedding took place over several challenging locales including the Pride of Baltimore II, Maryland Science Center and Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Brea was recommended to us as an amazing photographer who could shoot the most impressive shots in low light conditions. She absolutely lived up to the billing, with her and her fellow photographer taking a huge amount of really amazing photos over several hours on the day.

Never intrusive or in the way, always on the lookout for a killer shot, she managed to put together an amazing portfolio of shots to give us memories that will truly last forever. As a former photophobic subject who rarely had shots with smiling and eyes open, I was delighted that our big day was captured in a way that we'll remember for all the right reasons.

Brea was AMAZING. From when we met her, through the end of our wedding night, she was everything we were looking for in a wedding photographer. She is so kind, easy to work with, professional, and knowledgeable. We did our engagement shoot with her first, and she knew the best places to go and what times to go there to get the best photos. On the day of our wedding, all of our friends and family remarked on how great she was, and how quick and easy she made taking portraits. Having her around felt like having another friend with us. We really loved all of our pictures and how personal they felt; Brea doesn't just capture moments, she captures the feelings behind them, too. We will treasure them forever!

I found Brea through a friend, as she did an amazing job with their wedding photos. Working with Brea was incredibly easy. She was flexible with setting up phone & video calls to talk about our visions. On our wedding day, she kept the day moving along, was a friend to my husband and I, and most importantly took beautiful photos of our day without us even realizing she had a camera on her. We love how our photos show the candid and real moments of our wedding day, which is exactly what we wanted.

Working with Brea and her team (Jim and Joanne) for our engagement and wedding photos was such an amazing experience. From the start, Brea was incredibly easy to work with—super flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in getting to know us better. In the initial meeting with her, she was very clear about her pricing and process, leading to no surprises when it came to budgeting and planning. For our engagement photos, she even worked with my then fiancée and a close friend to plan a surprise Ghostbusters themed moment during our engagement shoot, which was both hilarious and indicative of our relationship. The photos captured our personalities perfectly while still feeling romantic and meaningful.
Brea is also just insanely talented. She handled everything from soft outdoor light to tricky indoor lighting (including the Maryland Center for History & Culture, where we got married) with total confidence. Her photos strike that perfect balance between classic portraits and candid, in the moment shots. She somehow caught every little detail, including decor, glances, quiet emotions, and then delivered beautifully edited images that we’ll treasure forever.
On top of all that, Brea was such a calming presence on our wedding day. She made us feel comfortable right away, which really shows in the photos. She was professional through and through—on time, dressed perfectly for the day, and great at keeping things moving without ever feeling stressed. Knowing she had everything under control let us actually relax and enjoy our wedding, confident that all the important moments were being captured by someone who truly cared.
I want to give a special thanks to her second photographer, Jim, who teamed up with my Best Men and me the morning before the wedding. He captured many candid moments that truly highlighted our joy during a part of the day I personally thought would be one of the more uneventful (eating lunch and casually hanging out before the wedding). Jim is also an exceptional photographer, leaving us with a beautiful collection of memories from my own part of the day.
After both sessions, Brea was quick to provide a small collection of our photos only days later, before providing us with the full collection of photographs within two weeks of the engagement shoot and the wedding day. We made many strong decisions for our big day, and hiring Photography by Brea was definitely one of our best.

Brea was everything we could have asked for, and more! From the engagement photos through the wedding day, Brea made us feel comfortable and made us look SO good! Amazing wedding photos were one of the things we cared about most, and the results were absolutely magical.
