Brea was one of the BEST choices we made for our big day. From the moment we reached out for services her energy was so lovely and truly made us feel comfortable and the experience special. She is a great communicator and very timely in responding and getting edited photos back to us (we literally had a few photos ready the next day). We booked her for both our engagement photos and wedding services and we LOVE the photos. She really captured us, the moments, and how the day felt. I know we will be able to look back at the photos and remember the day because of how good her and her husband Jim were at getting the good, special (and crazy) moments. The groomsmen also had a great time the morning of with Jim and the photos really show it. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Brea for wedding photography (any moment really). When our friends and family saw the photos they were blown away with her work. We will most certainly be using her for our photography in the future!! -

She was incredibly responsive to every request, creative and adaptive in bringing our vision to life, and somehow managed to capture every big moment and quiet detail with artistry and authenticity. We were stunned when she sent us photos that very night! Her speed is matched only by the breathtaking quality of her work. Choosing Brea and her team was one of the best decisions we made. We are so grateful we chose Photography by Brea for our wedding! Brea and her incredible team were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. Not only are they exceptionally talented and creative, but they also kept everything running smoothly and on schedule throughout the day.
From the very beginning, Brea was organized, professional, and so kind. Her team’s calm and upbeat energy put us and our families completely at ease in front of the camera, and you could truly see how hard they worked to ensure every detail was captured beautifully. There were so many good photos, it took us hours to pick a favorite for thank you cards.

Brea is such a wonderful human and photographer. Right away, during our initial engagement shoot, we felt comfortable and confident in her approach. She has an unparalleled knack for capturing authentic moments that convey the love between a couple. She was always super communicative and professional and provided an amazingly quick turnaround time for photos. On the wedding day itself, she was organized and efficient, able to cover all of the shots we wanted without taking us away from the action. Her assistants (shoutout Jim) were so friendly and talented. We were in very good hands. We will treasure the photos she took for the rest of our lives. We feel like we've not only gained a go-to photographer, but also a friend! -

Brea was at the top of our photography list for her ability to capture vivid colors and meaningful moments -- all things we knew would be important to us in our Indian fusion wedding! But beyond taking great photos, Brea also brings amazing energy, has a great team of people, and is extremely on her game even in more chaotic moments (while we did try to create a detailed schedule, we knew we'd need vendors able to adapt on-the-fly between a baraat, an involved Hindu ceremony, and family photo lineups).
On our wedding day, spending time with Brea and her team was so effortless. When we were in the zone during our ceremony or during dancing, we didn't even notice the photography happening and could be completely focused on each other. Then, when we took our couple's portraits, it was one of the most relaxing and fun parts of the day and we attribute a lot of that to picking the right photographer! Neither of us really know how to hit a pose but Brea is great at keeping it chill and walking you through some easy positionings while also catching candid moments.
Brea is extremely professional and responsive, developing the perfect photo plan for a (long) day with a lot of moving parts. When we got our photos back, we were obsessed with them. They're colorful, beautiful, and they capture moments we didn't even think our photographers noticed during the day -- plus funny and sweet moments from our family and friends that we ourselves couldn't have experienced. Candid, journalistic photography was absolutely the right choice for our wedding and Brea's work is creative and stunning. It feels like we're reliving the day every time we look through them.
Also her photo booth is really fun! Highly recommend that too if you're on the fence, our families loved it and we have a lot of group photos and personality pics from it we wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

The best photographer around!
We loved Brea’s photos for their vitality and energy! We wanted nontraditional photos for our engagement session and she was so enthusiastic from the first conversation. She made us look like the cover of a fashion magazine even though we were upside down.
At the wedding, her photos were equally amazing, really capturing the joyous energy of the night. During the portrait sessions, she made sure to get formal photos for our parents as well as silly portraits for us. We felt so secure in her hands and our friends and family can’t stop raving over how good the photos are!
She arrived on time for each booking and was easy to communicate with. We had a sneak peek of photos before we’d even gone to bed after the wedding and all of the photos just 2 weeks later.
We cannot recommend Brea enough!

Brea was incredible from our first meeting with her until our last after the wedding. She is incredibly responsive and receptive to our questions/concerns/ideas. It was great getting to know her while she took beautiful pictures of us during our engagement shoot.
The day of the wedding she did incredible work taking stunning pictures that my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives.
She also has a photo booth which was great for capturing additional memories with our friends and family.
The photo albums we purchased as part of our package were such an easy process. Brea helped us every step of the way to create a keepsake for ourselves and our parents that is simply incredible.
We cannot recommend her and her team enough. Thank you Brea for capturing our special day! -

Brea is one in a million! Spend five minutes on her website and you will see how incredibly talented she is. Truly we cannot recommend her enough. She makes moments, emotions, colors, gorgeous backdrops, and personality all come to life in the most meaningful and special way - and in a way that felt very "us". We were looking for a photographer who could get the light right for two different skin tones at multiple times of day. Brea excels in managing exposure, shadows, lighting, and weather...not to mention she has really cool gear that makes amazing night photos! Beyond the wonderful engagement and wedding photos she captured, Brea is easy-going, and really fun to work with. We had never done a photoshoot before and she made us feel so comfortable and supported. She also knows Baltimore and its venues so well - and helped recommend our planner and hair&makeup venders all of whom were outstanding. We cannot more highly recommend Brea! You will be so happy!! -

Best photos in the world!
Brea and her team are absolute magic!!! They were so easy to work with and made our wedding day run so smoothly. The photos turned out so beautifully and they were always down for whatever silly ideas we threw at them! It truly felt like we were working with old friends. Definitely book Brea for your engagement pics first and get all your nerves out about a photo shoot. She will walk you through all the best ideas but also allow your authentic way of interacting shine through. Ten out of five stars :) -

Brea is such an amazing talent! When my husband and I started considering dates for our wedding, we knew from the start we wanted to book with Brea and made sure our venues and dates aligned with her calendar so we could have these memories captured from her lens. Brea and her team were so fantastic to work with at all steps, from booking to engagement photos and even helped us in a slew of unexpected ways on the wedding day itself! Your photographer is your most intimate vendor during the wedding planning process, and I am so glad we decided to work with Brea and her team. She made us feel so comfortable during both our engagement and first look sessions. She is creative, fun, kind, and really REALLY good at her job. She was even a sound board for us when making a few decisions on our timeline. Our photos from our wedding came back more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Our family and friends have been raving about them as well. And, most importantly, Brea is EFFICIENT. We picked our wedding date based on Brea's availability- that's how badly we wanted her to capture our day on 9/7/24 at the BMI! Follow her on insta @photographybybrea and you will see what we mean! From the start, Brea made us feel super comfortable at our initial interview and engagement shoot. She made it clear that her number one goal is to capture the feeling and emotion of the day in the couple and our guests. She is an expert at lighting to create bright , vibrant shots that told the story of our day. Jim was our second shooter for our wedding and the two of them work so well together, spoke so kindly to each other and made our day smooth and stress free! They were both so flexible- the bridal party got ready at the Waterfront Marriott and the groomsmen at our house, then we all met up at the water taxi and the pics along the way are so fun! We are also SO GLAD we added on the photo both package last minute! Totally worth it, our guests had so much fun and we loved looking at all the pics in an album Brea shared with us! Plus Brea's mom, Joanne, runs the photobooth and is the sweetest person ever! Not only is Brea the best photographer in the world, but she is now our friend- from bustling my dress to sharing pics of our baby kitties- She was a joy to hangout with for our entire wedding day! We will cherish Brea's photos for the rest of our lives! -

We love Brea!
Brea was the wedding photographer of our dreams! Not only is her work STUNNING, but she is also extremely responsive and a great human being.
We lived out of state and Brea was extremely flexible in helping us schedule our engagement photos for when we were in town, and helped provide a lot of guidance when we couldn’t choose the best spot for us!
On wedding day, Brea, her partner Jim, and her assistant Courtney were there from start to finish, were genuinely fun to be around, and captured so many memories. My husband and I kept remaking on how the team was able to seemingly be capturing photos in 4 spots at once, yet you hardly noticed them there. On the wedding night, Brea's car got a flat tire on the way home from our reception, and yet she was still texting us sneak peaks of the photos at 11pm WHILE sitting on the side of the road waiting for a towtruck, after an 11 hour work day. Talk about treating your clients like family. Moreover, we've received numerous compliments and inquiries as to who our wedding photographer was -- probably a dozen people said they "had never seen anything like this" when looking at the level of detail and beauty of our wedding gallery. With Brea, it was a labor of love from start to finish. Working with her felt like talking to an old friend, not a wedding vendor.
We are in love with our wedding photos. They captured our special day so beautifully and authentically, and would highly recommend Brea to photograph any special occasion in your life! -

Where do I even begin? Brea is PHENOMENAL! Not only does she create beautiful photos but she also will double as your day or coordinator 😉 (jk) but not really. Brea was so great at keeping everyone on track and adhering to the timeline. She even helped me create my wedding timeline because she has done weddings time and time again! It was such a relief when Brea showed up the day of my wedding because I did not have to tell her what I wanted/ needed she just jumped right in and began to capture photos I didn’t even think about! She is such a fun person to hang out with and a great addition to our wedding. Brea and I have also bonded over the years leading up to the big day because we both have Grey kitties and share photos to one another. She’s not just a photographer but she has become a friend to my husband and I! I can’t wait to one day have her take maternity pictures/ family photos. You would be crazy not to hire Brea for your big day. -

Truly Amazing
When I got engaged Brea was my first call! She shot my sisters wedding a few years back and I knew when my day came she was my photographer. She is absolutely amazing. And I truly mean AMAZING! My one daughter was unable to attend due to being in the hospital but through facetime and Brea it felt like my daughter was with me every step of the way. She incorporated her in the getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception. That meant more to me then she will ever know. Those little touches Brea will do for you to make your day even more special. Working with her was so effortless and she truly captures every detail.
I will be the first to say I am not the most photogenetic person but with Brea she made me feel so comfortable. We just got our pictures back and I am in love with them all!.
Brea has truly become apart of my family! -
