From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music.

Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed.

Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work.

Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. He didn't just play music, he helped create the energy and memories that made the night unforgettable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

We absolutely loved having District Remix as our DJ for our wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! Jason was so easy to work with and paired us up with a DJ he thought we would like the best based on the music we were looking for at our wedding. DJ Don Hood was amazing! Jason made a perfect match. Don was so easy to work with and walks you through the whole process! He was helpful with making a timeline for the evening of and listened to all our music requests. Don was very professional and great with communication during the planning process. He helps put you at ease! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long and were saying how amazing the music was! After a long search for a DJ, we found District Remix and was matched with DJ Michael Ramos. Most importantly, we had a PACKED dance floor and everyone had such a good time! We also booked uplighting which made for a really fun vibe and great photos. Michael really listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Highly recommend District Remix!

District Remix and specifically Michael Ramos are truly experts in the field. I don’t even know where to start on this. The admin team at District Remix is incredible and so flexible and easy to work with. They are very responsive via email and phone. They went out of their way to accommodate us and asked us what we wanted and needed for our big day. After just one phone call, they then matched us with DJ Michael Ramos and the match could not have been more perfect. DJ Michael Ramos was fantastic. He made the planning process so fun and easy. We honestly didn’t even have to give him that many specific directions. Just from having a few conversations with us, he learned us and our “vibe” and ran with things from there. The night of our wedding was so lively and energetic and everybody had a great time, thanks to DJ Michael Ramos. He read the room incredibly well, all night long. Once the dancing and partying started, it didn’t stop. He also did incredibly well with helping with speeches and intros and transitions, etc. His equipment was top notch as well. We got so many compliments and people asked us to share his info with them so they could use him for their own events. We cannot thank DJ Michael Ramos enough or give him a high enough rating. 

DJ Don Hood with District Remix was the perfect DJ for our day. All music, sound, set-ups etc. went so perfectly. All of our guests had a great time, especially on the dance floor! We highly recommend District Remix, specifically Don, to DJ your wedding. We are so glad we chose them for our day.

Don absolutely killed it as our DJ! His transitions were flawless and we loved everything he played. Having a DJ that has a good personality and understands what you are going for makes a huge difference. Everyone keeps commenting on how I, the bride, didn't leave the dance floor and a huge part of that is thanks to him. We highly recommend working with him!

We could not be happier with DJ Michael Ramos from District Remix! He was a pleasure to work with, from booking to the day of the event. He was thoughtful, kind, respectful, and most importantly, had the dance floor packed for the entire night. Darian and the entire District Remix team went above and beyond to give us the best wedding DJ experience for our day. After our first phone call with Darian, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He was very easygoing and excited to learn about our favorite music to create the vibe for our wedding. Darian was super professional and responsive to all of our emails and was great at listening to our specific requests for special dances - including adding in a home video audio surprise to our father/daughter dance! He provided microphones and speakers for our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as for toasts during dinner. He kept the dancefloor alive all night (there was even an impromptu mosh pit) and created an atmosphere that was very true to me and my husband's music taste. We had an absolute blast with Darian and would recommend him to anyone looking for a super fun and collaborative DJ at their wedding.
