David was great to work with! He did a wonderful job of answering my questions and helping me out with other vendors in the area who were exceptional. He exceeded my expectations as a photographer and traveled to many different locations on the island in order to get a variety of different shots.

David Murphey photographed our wedding at Lanikuhonua and we were delighted with our wedding pictures. He is a talented photographer who captured posed as well as candid shots.

On the day of the wedding, David and his assistant showed up early and walked the estate. He was easy to work with and immediately put us at ease. He was patient with our family and friends and we were able to get all the “must have” photos and more.

As the bride, I did not receive any solo photographs at all when I received my proofs. When I called David Murphey asking what happened to the shots he took of me by myself, he said "they were out of focus" and he did not even apologize knowing how upset I was. This left me devestated as I have no pictures of myself on one of the most important days of my life. The only compensation I received was a photoshopped image he created of me by cropping out other people from a group shot I was in. I was really looking forward to having my wedding pics as something I was proud to share but instead they only leave me disappointed.
