Janet was an incredible addition to our wedding day "team". Dare I say the MOST impressive "vendor" we hired? I think so! We had countless guests approach us with compliments about Janet and her genuine/comfortable ceremony delivery. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to know her as we were working towards a ceremony that felt perfectly "us". She was helpful, natural, genuine, and perfectly suited for our Squam Lake wedding! We had considered many friends to perform the ceremony, but are so glad we went with a professional. It allowed our friends to relax and us to relax as well, with the comfort of having someone whose "job" it was to perform our ceremony. There is so much that goes into crafting and delivering the perfect message and Janet doesn't miss a beat! Do NOT hesitate to hire her.

We chose Janet as the JP to marry us at our wedding ceremony in December and are so glad we did! From the start, she was prompt and thorough with communication and planning. She made the script all about us, but had good input and was very helpful in deciding exactly what we wanted to say. She has very fair pricing which included her presence at our ceremony rehearsal. She arrived early for both our rehearsal and ceremony, and very well prepared. You won't regret choosing Janet as your officiant!

We chose Janet from Perfect Vows for our wedding. She was very responsive and communicative. She sent over different scripts for ceremonies and highlighted our personalities so well. All of our guests loved the ceremony.

I found Janet on weddingwire after not being able to find someone I personally knew. I was nervous because I didn't know her, and that was by biggest worry. Right from our consult over the phone Janet was lively, funny, kind, personable. I think my favorite part of the experience was the sheer amount of customization she helps create for your ceremony. A lot of married people I spoke to said they didn't even remember what was said at their ceremony, but I couldn't ever forget, because you write it with her. Her great attitude and general love for her work makes her the "perfect" officiant. No joke, when reviewing the finalized ceremony in the days leading up to the wedding, I recall (while crying like a baby it was a very emotional experience), literally saying "this is perfect..." So, from first hand experience, "Perfect Vows" are in fact, Perfect.

Janet was a joy to work with throughout our wedding planning experience. After contacting Janet through Wedding Wire we spoke on the phone to talk about how we envisioned our ceremony and to see if she would be a good fit for us. Janet made us feel comfortable and provided guidance on how the ceremony could flow while also getting to know us and our relationship. Following our phone conversation we set a time to meet in-person to plan the ceremony. Prior to our meeting, she sent examples of each part of the ceremony for us to select from or rewrite as we wished. As a unity ritual we really wanted to hold a ring warming, where our rings would be passed around to each guest prior to exchanging them. Janet was up-front about the fact that she had never participated in a ring warming ceremony, but she did some research and arrived to our meeting with a plan for how to execute it. On our wedding day it took a bit longer than we expected to pass the rings to all of our 115 guests, but never fear, Janet had a plan! She continued the ceremony with an extra reading that she had us select for just this possibility, and no one was the wiser that the third reading was added for time. I cannot recommend Janet enough if you are looking for a professional, warm, and thoughtful officiant, who is always prepared!

Our day-of-coordinator was so attentive and helpful, our wedding went off without a hitch. I would be hard pressed to find any flaws with the Barn staff, they were as amazing as the venue was beautiful. Our big day was perfect thanks to everyone there. I wouldn't change a thing!

I got married on 12/11/21, and Janet did an amazing ceremony. She works with you to find out who you are, and what you want. She has so many examples and ideas to help you create your perfect vows. She was so helpful and just a joy to work with. There wasn't a dry eye in our venue. We feel so lucky that Janet married us. She is absolutely amazing at what she does!!!
