The day of the wedding, we also had a short rehearsal. She helped guide everyone through their steps and when the time came guided me through my parts of the ceremony. We had a hell of a time trying to find an officiant, and it was one of the first things we had booked. The first officiant we booked ended up wanting to charge over $750 when I had written the ceremony myself, and the second officiant was a family member living at a distance who ended up not making it to the wedding. So with a month out, we were scrambling to find another officiant and Heather was one of the only ones available. We met up, had a really great discussion, and ended up staying a lot longer because we all got along so well! Heather is very knowledgeable with different wedding traditions, orders, etc., which was a relief during our rehearsal because at that point I was so scatterbrained I couldn't iterate what I wanted to do -- but Heather understood and made sure things went smoothly! And the day of she arrived early, met with me to go over a few last minute items, made sure if I needed anything and if all my wishes for the ceremony were being met, and more. Whatever I forgot (like telling the ushers what to do), she went back out to make sure it got done. She took the ceremony I wrote, ran with it, and it was just stunning. Heather is a beautiful orator and can definitely project if needed!

It was such a happy accident to have discovered Heather, and I'm very thankful that she performed our wedding and to know her!

She was so great. She created a custom ceremony for us that was absolutely perfect. I didn't live in the area and so it was very hard to find a time to meet with her but she was very open and easy to communicate with through email and text. I will highly recommend her to everyone.
