We made a great decision to go with Paul Michaels Events for our wedding! Paul was involved every step up the way up to the wedding. Their portal made setting up our timeline super easy as well as making sure all our songs we wanted to hear were on our list. We even had several meetings to go over everything and were able to get answers to any of our questions. The day of the wedding, Paul made sure everything lined up with our timeline and even helped make a few last minute changes. I'd highly recommend Paul Michaels Events for your wedding or really any event that may require a DJ.

Can't say enough great things about Paul! From start to finish, Paul put me and my fiance at ease with his expertise and advice. In our first call, he took time to ask us about our vision and used that to tailor his recommendations.

After booking with Paul, he provides you with access to a portal that lets you easily organize all the planned music as well as give him guidance for must plays, like to hear, do not play, etc. It also has a section where you can see popular songs for various parts of the wedding and/or for different genres, which we really needed and appreciated. After that, you meet with Paul to cover your selections and nail down more of the timeline for the day itself. Organized to a T.

Most importantly, Paul read the dance floor perfectly, responding and adapting to the vibe as the night went on. He was the perfect blend of energetic but not at all obnoxious (have definitely seen corny DJs at other weddings - this is NOT Paul), his assistant was great, and he worked side by side not only with us but also our other vendors and coordinators.

Not exaggerating that close to a dozen guests raved about Paul specifically. Direct quote the next morning from a guest from New Jersey for our Chicago wedding: "He was FANTASTIC, I'm gonna fly him out for our anniversary party!" While I'm not sure if Paul's radius extends that far, I am sure it would be the East Coast's loss. You can't go wrong.

Working with Kate was amazing, we had one maybe two short meetings where she asked some great questions about our taste and helped us talk through what we did and did not want and what we needed to let them know when.
