We got both our wedding cake and macarons (as favors) from Patisserie Poupon in Georgetown, which was recommended by our venue (Hotel Monaco in DC), and we couldn’t be more pleased. They were reasonably priced and delightful to work with. The cake and macarons were delicious and beautiful, and we got many compliments on both. The cake was very moist and tasty, which I can’t say for many wedding cakes I’ve had in the past. Everything went very smoothly in terms of delivery. We highly recommend them!!

Amazing cake! Martin Cotignola is very helpful and invited us for to taste all of the flavors with free coffee or tea.

I ordered a three tier cake with mostly the Royale flavor (chocolate), and also a birthday cake for the next day with the Fraisier (strawberry) flavor.
It is not a typical american cake, it is much more moist. My guests loved the two cakes and complimented them so much.
The delivery was perfectly on time. I ordered a very simple design and it was exactly what I wanted.
I recommend them not only for weddings but for any event or even to have a drink and cake slice at their cute shop in Georgetown.

Patisserie Poupon makes delicious cakes! We ordered three "regular" cakes for our wedding: a small Spanish Fruit Cake, a larger Royale (chocolate hazelnut), and an even larger Fraisier (strawberry). Our wedding reception staff helped set the cakes up to have a tiered look, so it was still wedding-like, but was much less costly, tasted great, and looked beautiful! Many of our guests commented on how good the cakes were. Patisserie Poupon also decorated them very nicely with an autumn theme even though we hadn't asked for it. The order was very easy to place over the phone, and we were 100% satisfied with the result.

From the start, Patisserie Poupon was exceptionally professional and easy to work with on selecting and designing our wedding cake. During our tasting, we were given large slices of each wedding cake they offer to taste, along with delicious Illy coffee (and they boxed up all of our leftovers to take home). The only hard part was selecting which cake we wanted! The alternating layers of fraisier and citron cakes coated in marzipan were a big hit. Everyone loved our wedding cake from Patisserie Poupon!

Patisserie Poupon provided us with 100 of the lightest, most delicious maccarons I have ever eaten. @ $15/25 it was great value for money and the taste is other-worldly.

Cake was so good and lasted for a month. The delivery was flawless.
