We feel incredibly lucky to have been able to work with Jess & Kim – they are EXTREMELY talented and are masters of their craft! We wanted photographers who would capture the moments of the day, of us, our families, our wedding party, of the guests. Thanks to them, we’ve been able to relive our day again and again and feel like we are back on the reception dance floor!

Photography was super important to us as we considered our wedding team and budget. We were looking for photographers with a candid, vibrant, authentic style who utilized color and focused on capturing the special moments throughout the day, not just the posed portraits and formals. They really spent their time getting to know us and understanding our vision for our day, and their authentic care and support for us throughout the entire process was very special.

They were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process – I asked them a lot of non-photography related questions and greatly appreciated their insight and guidance.

They’re so organized in knocking out all the formals and portraits and any combinations you want to do there; but then they literally get on the dance floor and the candid moments they captured are priceless and some of our favorites from the day.

They’re very intentional with how they approached the bridesmaids vs. the groomsmen; Jess brought a really calming presence to the bridesmaids and Kim kept the guys in line and on time! They made us laugh throughout the day, easing our stress.

Jess and Kim help you to be your most true, authentic self while taking photos (which to me has felt awkward in the past, but not with them!) and captured the essence of the love between my husband and me. They put us right at ease; I loved how they told us how to pose, what to do with our arms, etc. They made us laugh throughout our formals and portraits by giving us great prompts to talk through.

We are forever grateful to them for capturing our day so perfectly and for making our day so special, and we feel lucky to have gained two new friends who were there by our side throughout the most important day of our lives. We love you guys!!

Jess and Kim were phenomenal to work with from our very first meeting throughout our wedding planning process. We were part of the early stages of COVID-19 couples with an original date in June 2020. Jess and Kim were the most transparent, supportive and flexible original wedding vendor we had. We are SO grateful we chose Party of Two - not only because of their beautiful work, but because they were truly so supportive throughout a challenging wedding planning process. We originally fell in love with their photos because of the play with light and shadows and the commitment to capture candid moments and real emotion. Some of our FAVORITE wedding photos are the ones we didn't see/experience ourselves because the day flew by and we were pulled in so many directions. Party of Two were there to capture every moment. They listened to our wants and needs in all of our planning meetings to make sure our day was photographed exactly how we hoped it would be - and they delivered! Post-wedding, we went to their home for a photo-reveal with a slide show and review of pages of our wedding album (and the option to edit those pages)! I am so grateful we met Kim and Jess. They are kind, caring, professional, and AMAZING photographers. We had an exceptional experience with Kim & Jess. They shot our engagement and wedding photos. From our first consultation to the reveal of the wedding photos they went above and beyond to make us feel special. The reveal was an entire video of our day, they had drinks, snacks, and tissues ready for us to view the first look on our weding. They remembered all the little details that we had discussed in our consultations and side conversations(which I had forgotten about). They drove to Charleston for our wedding and they divided and conquered. Kim went with the groomsmen to capture the details of the day and Jess went with the bridal party. Jess and Kim throughout the day were funny, helpful and most of all kept us calm. Months after the wedding we have multiple guests still compliment on how well the photographer's captured the day. We can't thank them enough for not only capturing our day but telling our "story."

ess and Kim were amazing to work with! We loved meeting them for the first time via Skype, as we live in DC. They did a great job despite the distance of being available and helpful. We quickly found much in common, including wedding venues, making us feel even better about our choice to go with these two!

Our engagement session took place on a hot August evening, but despite the weather, Jess and Kim made the night fun, even renting us scooters as part of our shoot in uptown.

The day of our wedding found them on time and prepared, where they did a great job of following our photo list to the letter and wrangling a large crowd quickly, then meeting us at the venue. They kept things fun and light the whole time and captured all the highlights of our day in inventive and tasteful ways!

We were thrilled with the quality of the photographs we received back. I highly recommend working with them, you will not be disappointed.

Our experience with them for our wedding was beyond compare, from our first consultation to receiving our photos after the wedding. Their process makes it so easy, and yet extremely thorough. They take time to get to know you, your style, and really understand what you want. They guide you through any questions you may have, and they help you to think through things you may not have even considered (hello, family photos!). Let's talk about the actual photographing part... we had multiple people come up to us at the wedding and say, "Holy cow your photographers are working hard!!!" Jess and Kim were everywhere! I mean, they caught so many special moments and special people. Our photos from Jess and Kim were everything we hoped for and more! We worked with them for our engagement photos and wedding. For the engagement shoot, they had lots of great ideas to help us along, but nothing felt too posed or staged. This was also a good way to get to know their style and how they work before the wedding!
Our wedding photos were amazing! We got a great mix of more traditional photos and candid shots. Our first look pictures were some of our favorites! They captured all the parts of our ceremony and reception without feeling intrusive.
Jess and Kim are very professional. They are great with communication and with answering questions. I appreciated that they were up front about pricing and packages. They also had great questions for us to get to know us as a couple. They got our pictures to us in a reasonable amount of time as well. Highly recommended!
