We had an incredible experience working with Paige for our elopement photoshoot. She was kind and professional from the start, making the process of booking and planning seamless and organized. She was so lovely to meet in person and made us feel at ease on our special day when we were nervous about being photographed. She created beautiful, natural, and awe inspiring photos with her incredible talent. I have nothing but good things to say about Paige and her work.

Paige shot our wedding party over the summer and I’m beyond happy that she was recommended to us. She made us feel so comfortable taking photos and she completely understood our vision for the party. All of my friends kept saying how much they loved her as well!

The photos came out so well and I would recommend adding on the film photos. We also purchased a photo album through Paige and the whole experience was seamless and perfect. Both my husband and I will cherish our photos and the album for the rest of our lives. I’m addition to our book, we purchased two mini versions for our parents. Both our parents loved this and it was such a speacial way to thank them for everything they did.

As I said, Paige was the best and such a dream to work with. If you’re considering her, I say go ahead and get her booked while you can!

My husband and I booked Paige for our anniversary session. This shoot was so amazing. She was patient and fun-loving. I loved her direction and energy from start to finish! My husband and I are both photographers so it was great to have an awesome experience in front of the camera rather than behind. We love all of the images, they are beautiful and natural. Paige really captured our love beautifully!

I might be a little biased being that I've known Paige for a number of years but the work she does is absolutely stunning. I think it's likely that most people aren't incredibly comfortable with a camera pointed at you for any length of time but Paige erases that awkwardness with her calming energy. She gently coaches you and makes the experience easy, light and fun. She also goes the extra mile to ensure you get "the" photo, even if that means precariously perching on rocky beach sides. Paige also offers photos using her 35mm and Polaroid camera which is such a unique touch. Our engagement photos are more beautiful and special than we ever could have imagined for. It was a no-brainer decision to pick Paige to shoot our wedding next summer and we could not be more excited.

When I first got engaged back in 2019, finding the perfect photographer was probably the most important thing to me on my wedding checklist (as I am also a photographer and SUPER particular). I did phone consultations with a few others before hopping on a call with Paige and the second we spoke I knew she was the one for us. She is super kind, VERY thorough and EXTREMELY talented. In 2020 we had to postpone our wedding (for obvious reasons lol) and Paige worked with us to reschedule a new date seamlessly. We shot our engagement session with her and it was LITERALLY everything I wanted it to be. I was super specific about how I wanted things to look and she took everything next level leaving both my husband and I in awe with the session. As a photographer I am rarely on the other side of the camera and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease, all of the photos look effortless and better than we imagined.

We had a destination wedding in Oregon and of course the day of the wedding was torrential rain and wind, yet somehow in all of the photos it you cant even tell that the weather was awful lol. Despite the conditions everything still looks so dreamy and romantic and candid and perfect.

If you are lucky enough to get Paige as your photographer I would book her immediately and don't look back. She did a stelar job and we couldn't have been happier with the photos we got back. I know we will cherish these forever and she was 100% worth every penny.

If you are trying to decide on a wedding photographer/destination photographer then you have come to the right place!!! Paige was the BEST decision we could have possibly made when thinking about who we wanted to take our engagement photos. My fiance and I are from Kansas, and we knew that we wanted to be unique and travel out of state to take our engagement photos, so we landed on taking them in Big Sur, California. I started comparing different photographers from California and since I knew we would be traveling so far to make this happen, this decision was very STRESSFUL. When I reached out to Paige she was so quick to respond and she answered every question that we could've possibly had trying to figure out how this was going to be planned. Leading up to the engagement shoot, she sent me SO many examples of what colors to wear and what would pair best together for the scenery we wanted, sharing Pinterest boards of inspiration for how she envisioned our shoot. She also gave me extensive information on the weather and how to pack for our week long trip and what to bring the day of. When we finally met Paige in person for the first time, she was so sweet, naturally caring and ALL ABOUT US!!! When we received our full photo gallery, they were the absolute most amazing pictures we had ever seen. She captured us BEAUTIFULLY! ( We were pretty awkward and she knew exactly how to calm us down and make us laugh). Not only did she absolutely deliver with our pictures, but they are all different in the best way. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAIGE!!! You have been the best decision we have made yet in planning this wedding. 100000% recommend. If you are having doubts on who to hire for your photographer- LOOK NO FURTHER!

As soon as I saw Paige's photography style, I knew she was the person I wanted to book for my wedding. She is so sweet and wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond and made me feel so comfortable the day of, despite my jitters. She captured every moment of our wedding day and took such care in curating each and every one of our photos. We also got the heirloom album, which is an absolute must! It is so special to be able to go through and relive that day and we have Paige to thank for it.

It has been almost half year since we had this amazing adventure with Paige, but every moment she captured for us stays in our heart forever. Paige is no regular photographer, but a gifted, way more than just wedding photographer, rather a documentary director. She was there, but we can barely notice her taking photos for us, instead of making pose front, which is not we are looking for. Her photos, no doubt, is far more high quality, without saying a small but very warm gift sent after half year later from Paige. So, to me, we had a perfect wedding, but this only with Paige as our photographer!

We are so happy we hired Paige for our small wedding ceremony. We were from out of state and Paige was easy to work with during planning. Everything went smoothly during the big day, and Paige was very professional while also helping to create a laid back and comfortable feeling during the portraits. Above all, the pictures are amazing! Paige was able to capture our day in such an authentic way, and we love reliving our wedding through her photos. We highly recommend hiring her.

Where to start?  Paige is not only amazingly talented (you can tell that from her portfolio, right?), but she has also been such a joy to work with.  She was so patient and understanding as we had to re-schedule several times over the pandemic.  We never felt pressure from her to adjust to her schedule or "just get the photoshoot done."  She thoroughly respected our comfort level, made sure to check in with us, and always presented a positive and empathetic attitude. 

After we received our photos, we asked for a couple of them to get small edits because of a make up application mishap.  To our surprise, Paige went above and beyond, as she took the time to find other photos from our session that needed similar attention. Past that small make up application snafu, we were absolutely enthralled by the images she captured. Paige has a beautiful way of looking for meaningful details, as well as zooming out to show the grandeur of the landscape we were enveloped by. She captured a range of emotions in our faces and several people commented how she made us look like models - definitely a confidence booster haha

We hired Paige for an anniversary photoshoot (taken June 2021) and came away with service and attention to detail we wish we had gotten from the photographer at our actual wedding.  Our experience with Paige was exceptionally positive. We really can't recommend her enough!

My now husband and I eloped to Big Sur at the end of 2020 & had the pleasure of working with Paige. Not only did she take amazing photos and capture such wonderful moments of our elopement, she was right there if I had any questions or concerns at any time along the process! She provided us a list of recommended vendors from flowers to officiants to our venue. The day of the elopement came and Paige showed up full of life and excitement. There were only a handful of us at our ceremony, including Paige, and yet there was so much laughter and genuine conversation. Her spirit and her professionalism are second to none....neither are her pictures. I couldn’t be more thankful for Paige Nelson. We have nothing but happy memories of our day and Paige played a HUGE roll in that!

Hiring Paige Nelson was the best decision we ever made. My husband and I were drawn to Paige's work immediately when we decided on eloping in Big Sur. After looking at her website, in addition to resonating with the beauty of her photos, we loved her overall vibe. It was of utmost importance to us that our photographer be unobtrusive, intuitive and easygoing.

We had zero guests at our elopement. We wanted true intimacy when saying our vows. We wanted only to focus on each other, and only celebrate one another, without any distractions when we became married. With intimacy as our number one goal, we knew we had to be extremely selective of who we hired to document our day. We did not want to feel uncomfortable, we wanted nothing contrived and we certainly did not want to feel awkwardly posed or directed whatsoever.

Paige advertises that she is a feeler, a storyteller and is interested in YOU as a couple. I can 100% validate that she absolutely is all of those things and more. I have never experienced a more authentically truthful representation of one's services.

Once we hired her, she was so prompt and organized with her emails and communication. She talked to us on the phone multiple times and literally became a sort of coordinator for our entire day. She recommended our fabulous officiant, she gave us so much insight into different locations, and she was genuinely interested in helping us find and secure the most intimate location (which she singlehandedly did)! On our wedding day, she was so easygoing, so graceful, and we felt like she was a trusted friend. She did not infringe upon any moment of the day, and we felt so comfortable with her that the next day we were almost worried that we hadn't gotten any good photos, because we were so focused on each other and in the moment!

A few days later she gave us our preview photos, and we were elated at how much we loved them. I wondered how she even got certain angles, she was like a little leprechaun hopping all over the place yet we didn't even notice. When we got the full gallery, she included a beautiful slideshow and intuitively chose the most fitting, ethereal music which we couldn't have picked better ourselves. She is simply a true artist. Our friends and family all said after seeing our photos, they FEEL like they were at our wedding. She captured the entire essence of our day and of what we wanted. She is the real deal. Just trust her. We are in gratitude for the art we now own thanks to Paige -our wedding photos.

Capturing our day was one of the most important parts of our wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased with having Paige do it! She was fun and happy and gave us great tips on staying connected throughout a busy day. With a surprise destination wedding this was crucial, and my wife and I are really thankful for her advice.

Paige was thorough and professional throughout the process with great attention to detail, helping us plan our shots and providing great ideas. She did a great job working with our videographers to make sure we got everything and kept our day moving.

We ended up with some unexpected, crazy weather, but Paige kept her good vibes and positive energy the whole time and really helped us do the same. Her demeanor was a huge help to our day.

I couldn’t imagine a better person to work with, and on top of that our photos are stunning! We had very high hopes and Paige exceeded them. The slideshow she sent (with the tip to watch with some wine) was a great way to re-live such a special time, and we’ll cherish our photos for the rest of our lives.
