This is the most beautiful park for a wedding. I absolutely love the landscaping, and natural beauty it has.

We couldn't have picked a better place for our ceremony! The park was absolutely beautiful and needed very little decoration! Guests had no trouble finding the park and there was plenty of parking. The park was also very flexible with our set-up needs. For anyone who wants to get married in an beautiful outdoor setting ... this is the place to do it!

We chose Spring Grove Park as our wedding ceremony location because of how absolutely beautiful the park is. It is wonderfully landscaped with a little stream running through it. The wooden trellis covered in ivy with the brick steps is a perfect back drop for a wedding. The cost to rent the park is a great value. We also rented the building that is on site for my wedding party to get ready in. It was perfect because it has two sides to it. On one side we had the groomsmen getting ready and on the other we had myself and the bridesmaid getting out hair and makeup done. There were so many different places we could take pictures at the park and they all turned out so well!

We found Spring Grove Park through friend recommendations. Overall the place was gorgeous, is budget friendly, and fit our vision. The one issue we had was other people gawking at us and a park employee (who was supposed to be there as part of the reservation) was nowhere to be found. This unfortunately made our first look pictures less intimate. In fact, a bridal party member asked someone to leave and the family was VERY rude. I did connect with the park and express my concerns, and they had someone call me soon after to resolve the issue which was very much appreciated. I would recommend this park in the future, but to have the numbers written on the contact on hand to assist on any potential issues.

We wanted an outdoor ceremony, so I searched all over West Michigan and even areas of Northern Michigan for an outdoor venue that fit within our budget. Most of the places had a very manicured look to them, which wasn't what I wanted at all. Spring Grove Park is the PERFECT place for those who want to enjoy nature on their wedding day. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, and there's a spring-fed creek with little waterfalls running through the area.

We didn't have too much trouble with mosquitoes (though you may want to bring bug spray) and we had no problems with the public. Or at least if there were any, it never came to my attention.

The main drawback with this park is booking. It's first-come, first-served, and you can't book any earlier than 365 days in advance. It's tough competition in the popular summer months, especially when graduation open houses want the weekends as well.

They were not willing to let us in at anytime the day before for rehearsal unless we paid another fee on top of what we had already paid and when I had called a year ago to inquire about the park I was told differently and it is no where in the rules and regulations about this. Their flexibility is very poor and I was very unhappy with it. The value for this beautiful park is well worth it, I was very happy with the price considering the location and how pretty it is there.
