For more than 15 years, Band of Gold has performed as a 4-10 piece dance band for countless happy brides and grooms across the Southeast. We work hard to give our clients the soundtrack they want on their wedding day. With over 1,500 songs on our playlist, we play songs everyone knows and loves. Our couples enjoy the benefit of requesting as many songs from our list as they want and we are happy to learn their favorite songs as well!

Band of Gold's performances range from a cool jazz group capable of playing the perfect background music for meals or cocktails to a hot party band with horns, singers, dancers, and professional concert grade lighting. Our action packed shows are designed to pack dance floors with perfect song choices from our extensive catalog of music and our fun, energetic personalities. Every performance is customized to the client's wishes. Band of Gold's lineups feature talented musicians and a state of the art sound and lighting system. The band includes a DJ and MC at every event so the music and fun never stop. And, Band of Gold has a 100% NO CHEESE GUARANTEE!

Experience
Band leader Kris Bayne started O&A Music and Photography in 1999 with his wife, Terrilyn. Kris began DJing weddings until forming Atlanta Band of Gold in 2007. His goal was to create a band that could play music the same way a DJ plays records - perfect songs chosen on the fly in response to the dance floor, continuous music with great song transitions, and a custom experience with every performance. And Band of Gold delivered.

Amazing band

Band of Gold Atlanta is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend the band for a perfect sound, excellent service, professional and awesome time! They are so wonderful. Kris is the greatest guy who leads the band and made my daughters wedding just wonderful! 😊😊😊

The wedding band will make or break your reception and Band of Gold MADE IT just THAT MUCH BETTER

Hands down, best vendor decision we made. Band of Gold knew exactly what they were doing as far as getting the crowd to the dance floor and keeping the party going. Received sooooo many compliments from people of all ages just so excited they felt involved and welcomed to the dance floor all night long. They were fabulous!

Perfect Wedding Band!

band for dinner/reception in Covington, Ga. and they absolutely made our wedding incredible. The venue staff said they'd never seen that many people on the dance floor for that long! Kris was always super responsive and a joy to work with. We had some common musical tastes and he even had the band learn a song on my behalf as a surprise. Just an awesome experience all around - book these guys for your wedding and thank me later!

Kris was an excellent DJ!

We hired Kris as our wedding DJ and he did an excellent job. I wanted our wedding to be a very classy affair and he did a great job at keeping all the songs fun, danceable, and clean. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Book This Band ASAP!!!

The Band of Gold is the real deal. I spent days looking at bands, comparing prices and watching YouTube videos when I wish someone had just told me how good these guys are from the beginning. They played their hearts out for our wedding and every guest (and most importantly my new wife) were blown away by how great the sound. They learned a few new songs for our wedding and they knocked them all out of the park (including "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" for our first dance). Their price was among the most competitive I found as well and completely worth the value we received. Kris was really easy to work with and made sure that every little thing was taken care of. These guys are the real deal. Book them today!

Book them! When other bands were to afraid to take on our non-amplified reception, this band stepped up with enthusiasm to do something outside the box. Kris was really helpful at figuring out all the specifics and had a variety of unique instruments to choose from...we had a dobro and mandolin at our party. We had a 5 member band with a female singer, which is something I really, really wanted. BoG was able to play music we like that maybe isn't traditional at weddings (kind of folk/blues kind of stuff) but then played classics everyone knew the words to and got our people that are usually quite reserved and not much for dancing on the dance floor. We've received so many compliments from all different age groups on this band. One great thing about acoustic is that it's still loud enough to dance to, but you can be in the same room as the music and have a conversation, at least if it's Band of Gold. Didn't know that before bc I'd never been to an acoustic reception. Seriously, get in touch with Kris, book Band of Gold.

This band was amazing! They played at my daughters wedding and the dance floor was full the entire night. Their sound is amazing and they know how to select the songs that fit the crowd. Kris was so easy to work with. There wasn't once that I tried to call or get in touch with him that I didn't hear back from him before the day was over.

You must book this band! My guests complimented this band more than anything else at my wedding. They played great music, they're versatile, and professional. They even let my husband play the drums for one of the last songs of the night; Band of Gold really helped make our night unforgettable.

Wow! Absolutely amazing! Kris and Band of Gold were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! So many of our guests commented multiple times on how perfect the band was. My husband and I are constantly reminiscing about how much fun we had at the reception. Kris was so easy to work with and responded to my emails very quickly. The best part was the band learning a song that my husband had written for me and surprising him by playing it as our first dance song. That moment was so beautiful and so perfect. It was such a blessing to have them be a part of that special moment. The musicians are so talented and the singers are amazing. I could write for hours on how much we loved Band of Gold! You will not be disappointed with them!!!
