You want an upbeat, professional, and personable band that guarantees a seamless planning process, a smooth flow of events on your big day, and an unforgettable dance party - all at a competitive price. With years of wedding experience and a roster of highly dedicated musicians, you can rest assured knowing you and your loved one’s will be in good hands (and have sore feet by the end of the night)!
Velvet City Sound offers an all-inclusive, yet customizable Reception service. This includes MC service, premium sound and lighting, and a band size of your choosing (3-piece trio up to a 10-piece band with horns)! We also offer customizable options for Ceremony and Cocktail Hour.
Not only are you able to customize the entire evening, you’ll be able to pick songs from our 1000+ song list; the largest song list in the southeast! You can even have the band learn a few off-list songs!
According to couples, we exceed all expectations and according to planners and venues, we are the easiest band that they work with.

The Perfect Wedding Band!
We had the 4 piece band and added on a female vocalist for our reception. We also added on a pianist from the band for our ceremony and dj services for cocktail hour and dinner. We rented a black and white dance floor from VCS which was so fun to have and beautiful in photos! My wedding planner even commented that she hadn’t seen a dance floor rental that nice and clean.
The music throughout the entire wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted! VCS did an amazing job of feeling out our guests vibes and making sure the party kept going. They played all of our must-have songs and the other songs they added in went perfectly with our wedding. Everyone had SO MUCH FUN!!! Our guests cannot stop raving about how much they loved VCS, and everyone had an incredible time at our reception. We’ve had so many comments about how fun our wedding was. It was exactly what we wanted from our wedding band! Thank you Nick & VCS team! It was truly an amazing night thanks to you guys!!
