If you have the opportunity to hire Karen to officiate your wedding, you simply must! I cannot recommend her enough. I worked with Just Marry! to plan my wedding and made it clear to my wedding planner that having a good officiant was important to me. My planner suggested Karen right away and she absolutely delivered. Karen far surpassed any expectation I had for our ceremony. She was incredibly easy to get a hold of and answered emails faster than any of our other vendors, which is so amazing when you're a nervous out-of-town bride! She also does a fantastic job of keeping up with the most current ceremony trends. She sat down with us and went through several unique ideas for the ceremony. For example, we ended up having our families sit on the opposite sides of the aisle from where we were standing so they could watch our faces the whole time. And you don't have to worry about asking Karen to get out of the way for your first kiss; she does it seamlessly. She's just completely aware of what modern couples want. Most importantly she wrote the most amazing ceremony for us! All of our guests were talking about how beautiful our ceremony was, and it was all due to Karen. My husband and I chose not to write our own vows as we are more private people. Karen had us answer several questions individually and used our answers to create the most beautiful and personal vows for us. She even followed up to make sure we received our marriage license in the mail a few weeks later. Again, if having an amazing ceremony is important to you, Karen is absolutely your girl!!!

Thank you Karen for making our elopement perfect! Karen was able to accommodate a quick timeline for our elopement and was positive and upbeat during the entire journey! She wrote an amazing ceremony with us in mind knowing we are nonbinary and allowed me to make as many additions and special requests as I wanted. One of these requests was learning to do a handfasting ceremony and deliver us both Celtic and Buddhist vows. Another was wearing a druid outfit I got her to fit the theme. My husband entered the ceremony on horseback and Karen offered to take a video. I was so happy she insisted. It was spectacular and I highly recommend her for your event if you want someone fun, happy, on time, accommodating, friendly, professional and kind to officiate your special day! I can't say enough good things.

I am in awe at the level of detail and commitment that Karen brings to her couples. This is not a ready-made service, where everyone gets the same thing. She takes the time to get to know a couple, who they are, how they met and most importantly, how they fell in love, and she takes those little details and winds them into the service.
